Not just vacation but future enrichment also... If she manages to get a rich boyfriend like Manish then Shameless Shahs are financially sorted for next few years (same like Simp Kabadia)..... Considering Dukhmukh-Jhuli are not dying and Tosu-Makkhi-Ishaani etc just sit at home and do nothing except planning thefts and scams.

Btw is Anss still running that LeeShah LeeShaw whatever nonsense where they would scoop up dust from their house and kitchen waste and sell it to folks in the name of organic/herbal beauty products?

So it is established that:

1. They are now in Goa, Devika is not there (may be illness, may be in US, whatever) and the girl sitting pillion on the cycle is Jaya.

So, Devika legally adopted Jaya (presumably, at 65+, diagnosed with illness), left her under Onupama's care with no resources.
