Very surprising.

actually Kareena gave a very vague answer, her solution was to have parents alternate duty so kids have at least one parent at all times. well kareena , not everyone is married to a man 10years older than them who already had their career boom so it's easier for them to manage.

Ananya is the one who actually defended DP, and said all the right things. she said DP never complained before while shooting Gehraiyaan , its just her priorities are different now, as long as it's relayed in "Private", thats fine!!

I think that Deepika just did that but the producers/directors weren't willing to do the planning and instead put out a negative narration about Deepika.

South people are ruthless. They are known to be misogynists to actresses. otherwise what is Anushka shetty doing after bahubali success? Prabhas is getting big movies despite being fat. but Anushks is not.

Most couples living abroad manage their kids together.. Both parents taking equal responsibility..

What Bebo & Saif are doing can be adopted by other parents too. As actors, they do earn a lot, so reduce work by few movies per year and do alternate duty of managing their own kids.. of course.. they’re just present physically at home.. they have nanny and house help for everything..

Not able to understand the dynamics well. Many male superstars get to work 8 hours. It doesn't affect a movie's budget or finances. But if Deepika wants to work 8 hours, it leads to losses for a movie maker? How come? Kids need to be around at least one parent or a grandparent otherwise could be vulnerable. Its all about taking risks or having proper arrangements for them.

But if Kalki needed her presence due to continuity in the 2nd series, she and the makers could have to come to an amicable solution.

Any other new movie is her choice.

I actually agree with what Kareena Kapoor Khan said here. If someone like Deepika Padukone clearly tells the team about her working hours from the start, I think that shows honesty, not attitude. I feel every actor, especially someone balancing family and work, deserves that freedom.
