They are holding out revelation for later, but with every episode they delay the writing loopholes are becoming too glaring.. Custody battle, Kaveri in touch with Abhira all these years, Abhira knowing that Meher is close with Poddars and Maira... Yet nothing is revealed..

Writing is so inconsistent that they aren't able to decide what should be the post leap narration given the damage is already done pre leap and with half baked leap flashbacks Now I feel, they are not even trying to cover up the loopholes

@bold - This is the only reason else previously shows with 1.6 TRP used to wrap up but then the highest TRP that time used to be 2.5+ so going by current ITV standards, with highest TRP being 2.0, Star Plus isn't ready to risk I think
