Missiles flying over Tehran, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Jordan and numerous other Middle East countries.
And here we are, safe at home on a Sunday morning, in a democratic, peaceful country, worrying about none of this.
Peace often feels invisible until you see the alternative unfolding elsewhere. Sitting at home, arguing over cricket scores while large parts of the world live with sirens, uncertainty, and loss—that contrast is sobering.
India isn’t perfect and never claims to be, but the fact that our everyday anxieties revolve around work, weather, exams, traffic, or a tense cricket match is itself a privilege. Stability, democracy, and the ability to disagree without fear are quiet luxuries we tend to take for granted.
Gratitude doesn’t mean complacency—but it does mean acknowledging how fortunate we are. In times like these, being able to wake up to a peaceful Sunday morning is no small blessing.

Yeah we are lucky & we are privileged but no sooner the war will effect each one of us .. the oil prices will increase n itll hit our pockets too .. also , we have our folks in middle east as well ..praying for everybody's safety 🙏
