Thank you Mihir and Gautam for making show interesting for me for the past 2 weeks. Now only you two are watchable with Tulsi sometimes too whenever she’s away from those bad actors

Kvb yep true. He also has good bonding with his co actors so very nice to see. I recently found out he and shweta tiwari have mother son relationship, it's so cute. He was easily the star in gen 2 kasauti and prerna his scenes were cackling. I go back to mukti death episodes and how he's in shock unmoved and prerna cries next to him are amazing scenes . Also didn't watch qubool hai s2 but he was very good apparently

Wahi is okaayish and I dislike Patel. He bullied his kasturi co star and he had this attitude when he came in big boss taunted hina. He looks like a villain these days

Karan Grover as someone said is very good in comedy drama romance. His cameo in udariya was so popular

I just can’t stand the kind of shows that KSG ends up doing most of the time. As Armaan and later on in QH, I felt his characters were more about going shirtless and having those eyelock moments while a song/tune plays. Those shows have never been my cup of tea. Then there’s the fact that his fans are vicious; so somehow I just don’t like to watch his shows.

Patel is an asshole IRL. I swear when YHM aired and there were people who were happy when DT broke up with SM, because they presumed that she’d end up with KP. I was probably one of the few vocal people on the forum even back then who was against the idea because I felt she deserved better. He’s apparently Richie Rich but boy is it not worth it to be with someone like him.

KVB is genuinely talented and has proven his versatility. I think many people forget prior to doing Balaji shows and playing Viraj he was on Shararat and is quite good in comedy too. It’s a pity he’s not doing more work. He’s also comes across as a really nice guy, never heard of any controversy about him, no arguments or anything whatsoever with any costar. I have only seen people talking good things about him and his wife.

Grover I think is good in wacky urban roles but he is still limited in range.

Foreign returned don't have to be exaggerated. More polished, more direct, more knowledgeable. Eg maybe there can be one scene where tulsi starts speaking in that British English or Spanish. That would impress mihir so much and make noyona insecure. Maybe tulsi learns how to read account sheet. How to use computer better than ritik Gautam etc. Small small things

And yes these things can be done by staying in India too. I mainly wanted her with KN to bond with those twins more and we all know they would have kept tulsi really happy. And by this I think gautam feelings insecure would be more impactful. That his mother stayed with the sautela beta and didn't even tell him would be good source of more taunts

Tulsi and in fact the whole family was always very grounded and sounded very polished barring Daksha. But for her character they literally had her be from Junagadh or Jamnagar, basically small towns from rural Gujarat. Factor in that at the beginning of the show in the first season, in 2000, Mihir Tulsi are 20 somethings, so she’s definitely at least in her late 40s to early 50s. So she’s born sometime in the 1950’s and married probably in the 70s. So given the era, age and her being raised in an area that by all means was underdeveloped, her accent made sense and Ketaki Ji made her a sensation as a breakout character the way she played it. She was funny, nice and you enjoyed watching her onscreen. Her character never appeared caricaturist or as if they were making her ham to mock the Gujarati community. Her mannerisms and way of speaking was natural and didn’t appear forced and worse, exaggerated to the point where it got grating. That’s the problem with Upma, she is too loud in all the ways and nothing about her seems natural.

I think linguistic skills can be demonstrated even with one of our own languages. Smriti’s fluent in 9 languages irl so it wouldn’t be a problem either but it has to be woven in organically. Like we don’t question how Tulsi knows and speaks Marathi well. She’s a Mumbai native so her fluency in the language doesn’t even seem shocking.

She can still do the tasks with computers, and I think they displayed her business acumen in the scene where she’s instructing Hrithik to get the factory running in multiple shifts leaving Mihir impressed.

To have KN, Hiten and Gauri have to be paid a decent amount and I think that’s primarily why it didn’t happen. Those two combined would cost the show approximately 2.35 - 2.45 lakhs as a package. Per articles, Hiten charges 1.5 lakhs per shift and Gauri charges 80-90k for the same currently. In the same amount of money they can pay Angad, Vrinda, Pari and Hrithik. Probably throw in Ajay too. I don’t think any one of them is charging more than 40K a shift. Even if we scale this up to 50K per person, they still can afford 4 of them with this money for a single shift and use the remaining to pay off the child artists and/or extras for the episode.
