I was just thinking isn't the point about that Mannat was married to him and betrayed him so he wants her to watch whilst he takes a similar step? He doesn't know about the divorce papers right? When he met Mannat she acted like that marriage didn't matter coz to her he ended it. He doesn't know that. When he is calling her a dhokebaaz isn't it about that marriage?

Is it about wanting her back or about that betrayal?

I'll be honest.... I really dont understand why he would do this... we will have to wait for episodes to see if we get any insight 🤦‍♀️

That was a live update. Episode was fun, ignoring Vikrant's boorishness. There was a lot of suspense/tension in the epsidoe - ARS wakiting to leave, Vik's condition, Mannat's shcok

• ARS is hiding under one of the tables, Mannat comes in, upset with Vik. She thinks he lied to her. She wants to leave asap. This is why i said, she is also letting him believe DK and she are married!
• Vikrant asks Kumar to call Mannat.
• Malla and Vish are talking. Vish is sure Mannat can't enter Vik's life. But Malla knows better, she says somethign is afoot
• Mannat hears a sound, and almost lifts the dining table cover to catch ARS, when Kumar calls her.
• Vik sees mannat enter, and calls darling Yashika, accepts her proposal. Mannat gets upset.
• Yuvi the darling, walks into the dining hall, and wants to take the cake to Vikrant. he stops near the table ARS is under and keeps trying to light the candle. ARS is annoyed with him, she wants to run away
• Vikrant tells mannat toc ongratulate him, she doe,s she wishes him a life filledwith happiness, he says 'as much as you', she replies ' mujhse thoda zyaada'.
• DK comes in, he is looking puzzled. he is wondering why the delay
• Vikrant puts forth his condition, stay in SM, till the wedding, to support the wedding preps.
• Mannat knows he is trying to hurt her, she walks off from the deal.
• Vik didn't expect it, he says..neetu Mom, she blasts him bakc saying, he doesn't care of Neetu Saluja lives or dies. Vik goes to hold her hand, DK stops him.

Episode update

Mannat is pained to see Vik accepting Ys proposal. She is fine with accepting that he might have moved on but she is still hurt thinking Vik may not have even loved her the way she did and never trusted her.

Aish is hiding under the same table Mannat is standing by.

Y wonders if Vik will reject her and declares she hates Mannat. Vish taunts Y.

DK calls wondering what's taking so long. She tells him she will be out quickly. Mannat decides to not stay a minute more and decides to go talk to Vik again. But then she hears some tinkling sound under the table by Aish and bends down to investigate.

Vik meanwhile has gone to his confused state, asks Kumar to get Mannat here.

Just as she arrives, he accepts Ys proposal deliberately in front of Mannat ... praises Y and taunts Mannat. Y taunts Vish back.

Mannat monologues that maine to Wafa nibhai thi lekin aap ne apne Shaq se us rishte ko maar diya.

Mannat is recalling all their wedding rituals (terrace and white wedding and Viks promises that she will always be his first love and he will stand by her). Mannat cries but Vik doesn’t see it although he is constantly fishing for her reaction.

Mannat turns and wipes her tears.

Malla Vish are trying to understand where Malla like a prophetic sage declares theres lot to come. Vish doesnt agree.

Aish is hiding because of Yuvi who is taking own sweet time to light up the candles and throwing them out without extinguishing them. Few light up the table cloth and eventually start the fire towards end of episode from where Aish will run out tomm.

Looks like Babaji has handed over the responsibility to Yuvi now 😝

Pehle poster fiasco which brought Vik to hospital and now this fire which will expose Aish 🙈🙈🙈

Anyway, Vik boy is again fishing Mannat. Asks her if she wont congratulate him. Looks hurt while asking this. Mannat turns to him and with a smile congratulates him.

Like Ayesha said Vik doesnt see her tears but only sees the smile.

When she wishes a happy married life he asks tumse bhi behtar.. to which she compliments him on his choice of the girl.. better than her. He looks pained.

She asks for the papers, Kumar comes in and tells Vik I will handle you enjoy.

Just then DK comes in and asks Mannat if she is alright...

Vik says my engagement was happening so it took time. DK is stunned ... he says lekin aap to... leaving the sentence midway when Mannat hints him.

DK bhaisaab is sad .. fighting tears 🙈

But decides to execute the deal... he says to Vik we are in hurry lets finish this and we wont disturb your party.

Vik says theres a clause. Mannat understands it to be Duas participation.

Vik says no... I made the deal and since you didnt have an option which you dont have even now... I can add as many clauses as I like and you will have to agree to all of them. Mannat refuses.

DK says lets listen to the clause first. Mannat unwittingly agrees.

Vik then lays down the clause that with Dua Mannat has to stay in SM. When DK questions he says not permanently... only till few days... till my wedding with Y jo jaldi hi ho jayegi.

Mannat understands he is doing this to hurt her and she refuses to bend down to this additional clause. That there is always a choice to not agree to unreasonable demands and not let someone manipulate you at your weakest.

Proceeds to walk away when Vik stops her and says Neetu mom ko?

Mannat retorts not me... its you who doesnt care about Neetu mom... you are letting her die ...

Vik is about to hold her hand when DK intervenes.

Precap is Aish running in and Mannat saying this is Aish while Vik is saying this is Arzoo.

Betty... to your earlier question... it does look like he wants to hurt her thinking she betrayed him.

Thats why the catering offer hasnt even featured till now... he wants her to see how happy he is after choosing Y and how he is moving on (if not till now). And for that she has to live in SM to see all wedding rituals.

Had the catering being the first clause, it would have still made sense why she needs to be in SM. Its not. So that's going to be third clause.

While I do understand this twisted logic ... what I dont understand is why does he feel she would be upset when she is according to him happy in her own life... doesnt care for him or has no attachment for him even now.

As per pre leap she was having an affair with DK... had given his place to DK and now she supposedly has a daughter with the same man. To Vik ke hisab se Mannat ne use 7 saal pehle hi chod diya tha. She never loved him as per him. Ab kya farak padega use? And kyun?

I could have understood this if Mannat had shown even a little bit of frustration or anger or any reaction whatsoever from this situation...

Right now it's nothing... we dont get monos from Vik but what Ayesha had said is that Vik doesnt see how upset Mannat is.

More than betrayal... to me it looks like he simply wants a reaction out of her like he was doing when he was in fake proposal stage with Malla... its purely a repeat of that scenario... as of today.

Its nothing more... theres no thought process to any of his behaviour. I cant make sense of it.🤦‍♀️

The positive obviously is Mannat will need to be in SM for her to uncover Aishs truth and Vik is indirectly helping her do that. But for that Mannat will have to suffer multiple rounds of humiliation and pain seeing Vik do all sorts of nonsense. 😢

I hope for Duas sake that this engagement is short lived. 🙄

Does anybody not realise how pathetic and utterly disgraceful this sounds coming from a ML????

Mind you this is prior to saying she has to take up the catering contract 🙄

How can someone defend him in the name of jealousy or feeling betrayed????
