No, she was Abhinav’s adopted sister (Gen 3)

Kartik was the main lead

Shambhavi was little off today when she was screaming in that room.

But I loved that moment where Parshuram and Shalini are in single frame as he sneaks in to see and overhear the discussion.They could be one heck of a hot pair. Both of them being hot headed and always in the revenge mode.

I didn't understand a bit, so can someone confirm if Nandini will continue with case supporting Kabir despite knowing he kidnapped Shalini's kids? And is she favouring Babbar?

I have some doubts on Shalini, I will come to it little later. But by any chance if those doubts are false, I really feel bad for her as a character. I loved how she immediately thought of calling Neil after realizing that Kabir was the one arrested and was responsible for kids' kidnapping.

Shalini faces lot of issues and problems, some of which scares her, or upsets her and she has NO ONE else to talk to, or to share her feelings, but Shiv! Shiv, firstly never faces these fears because he has his own team to deal with it, Shalini is always around him to support him at home. So, in this dynamics, somewhere Shalini's character does seem weaker and aloof; because sometimes even Shiv is dismissive of her feelings. Thank goodness, he wasn't that today. He heard her and assured her that he will come to her. That was very sweet.

I didn't understand that part much, but if anyone did, please help me - Why did she say she is feeling insecure? She might be feeling low on knowing everything her own family did with their kids and all, but word insecure didn't click to me. Second, why was Shiv telling her sorry? Is it because he is hiding it all from her?

Now, other side of the story:

Shalini's hiding face from Babbar, this was also my observation on that day itself when Shalini's hair was wet and Shiv was also in that ship, so it was kind of an attempt to correlate.

There are two possibilities here:

1. Shalini is part of Babbar's gang! She has a criminal family, so possibly she was involved and hence married Shiv (fully knowing his identity)
2. Shalini is the one exposing role of her family (using her connections or spy agency) in this Babbar's case.

I hope it's second one, because I am liking Shalini (and Parshuram/Shiv is also fine).

As audience, this show is completely shown from Shiv's perspective and his lens. So, until Shiv does not find out, we will never know Shalini's secret, and that annoys me

Oh Wow! So she played Kaira's DIL? Those two often used to refer their older lives and mention her. It was so embarassing to hear Kairav's wife, who was just 6 back then! There were couple of such instances.

Also, sorry I am not completely aware of any names, characters and actors in this show beyond half of the second generation. But whenever I see the promo of this show, I always see some new face highlighted and some well-known actors. I bet this show might be in 5-6 generation beating up Kyunki, Kyunki Kasauti Era - Each of those shows had about 3-4 generations, as long as main female lead could last.

So, it was prominent one but series mostly focused on Nitin only, so yes screen time was kind of limited but throughout. Even I don't remember much of the series or faces anymore except Radhe (aka Suhanshu Pandey)

@b: you are technically right except in YRKKH, main leads of the previous generation either pass away or (mostly) killed. And yes, the show is currently in gen 4 to gen 5 transformation phase

Now the leads are being played by Rohit Purohit & Samriddhi Shukla.

I didn’t catch up with the whole series but I felt her screen time was limited in spite of being the love interest of the protagonist.

Yes when they are normal, we can see their love but even small crisis/doubt shakes them up. I am thinking this will be the major conflict in their relationship.

I didn't understand the word insecure today! But Shalini just called up her husband to immediately tell him the truth was kind of sweet.
