I remember another incident. There was a large rationalist Facebook group in Kerala, most of whose members were atheists. Religious people would come there to debate or argue, and every religion was logically criticised without mercy. The group was shut down around twelve times due to mass reporting. What upset believers the most was not the criticism of religion, but people leaving their religion due to that group, especially women. In their words, this was “conversion to atheism”; the actual word is deconversion. It upset them so much that one priest even commented on it in a sermon. I personally knew many members of the group, including the moderators. No, we were not running an “atheist jihad” (that phrase was a joke at the time). The same pattern: personal choices being reframed as organised plots.

Children don’t choose the religion they’re born into. Adults choosing their faith or no faith at all - is not a conspiracy. It’s a fundamental freedom.

These movies reflect a pathetic state of affairs and growing polarisation. People are outraged over invented fictional scenarios instead of addressing real incidents, like a pastor reportedly being assaulted and forced to eat cow dung in Odisha last month.

last week there was a conversation between barqa and taslima nasreen. unreliable, jihadi barqa tried her best to sugarcoat the cult alas she picked the wrong person for interaction.

There is a lot I don't believe in - including religions when getting used to justify inhuman behaviour.

I won't say that everything narrated is propaganda but it is used to propagate division between religious belief-systems...and gullible people give a nod to everything told that fits to their own belief-system.

Coercing people into a religion is done for a very personal purpose (get a woman one can overpower and bend to the own wishes is one of them... getting bonuspoints for being a 'good'/obedient member of the religion is another one).

My own faith doesn't rely on man-made religious systems because mankind misuses almost everything good that comes their way.

Not worth it. Leave it. No-one cares about this site anymore.

As for some voices here, they live in their own bubble or the reality they want to believe in or portray. For them only 'Hindutva' is a criminal reality. Love jihad and other criminal acts by their fav community will always be lies & propaganda (even when daily you can read atleast 3-4 such cases committed by the so called scared 'minority' in India).
