Armaan is a villain through and through, Vidya's every manipulation fails when your wife is on your feet and you tell her that you got restraining order against her

Writers show things for shock value but neither Vidya nor Armaan are held responsible for their actions

And at the end of the day, Abhira will go back to him, we know they will start humping each other here and there soon, so discussion on these two is futile

@bold - Why are we bringing actor into picture here ? So all actors who play grey shades or antagonists on screen should stop working if their respective fictional characters are being portrayed wrong on screen? Actor's job is to enact and portray emotions what ever is written on paper. Taking a stand or not is one's choice and I don't think anyone has right to question some one's choice to work and earn money when they aren't doing anything wrong here.

@italics - As you said, it's ones choice if they want to watch such regressive content but what is wrong in questioning the writing and writers intentions ? You said why are we questioning writers when Armaan is wrong here, but "Armaan is made to do wrong" he doesn't do it himself because he isn't REAL, just a fragment of some real person's imagination.

It's writers choice to keep flipping him every now and then to drag the story. That's why they have to be questioned ? Not the fictional character or the actor ? It's actors choice to accept it and continue working. I don't think there is any rule book which defines how every actor has to confine to pre defined standards to question the script of their fictional character?

Not sure of other channels, but star plus ke shows hi band honge if the ML actor or the FL actress start questioning the script for toxicity and refuse to work according to the script given..

Every channel has few shows which portray problematic things and make their leads do unacceptable scenes but Star Plus kind of mastered it and is also topping charts with shows like Anupama Rishta had questionable storylines with leads being downgraded every now and then but yes actors are expected to quit every time when story changes because hey how can you portray different shades which doesn't come under "lead actions" being a lead
