@bold- you know I am beginning to think Shiv is not as middle or lower middle class as they have portrayed. Today he gifted his wife a costlier than before mangalsutra.. I think he is just pretending to be stingy as a part of his cover. The valentine's promo shows him wearing pricy outfit to surprise his wife. The other day he came in a bus to the party to make sure his in-laws or someone notices him getting out of a bus. He is projecting that image. He pretends to be stingy but his children are allowed to order costly stuff online. I am gladly ignoring that valentines day promo. It just does not fit into the narrative and I don't think it can fit in 6 more days. It was just a promo showcasing Heroic love for heroine.

I don't know, but based on what he told his friend/partner, he does seem to be in real financial crunch to me! I don't know why Shiv makes it all so believable or would that all be a lie.

It would be best if Shalini and Shiv are aware of the each other's profession, but I am actually curious on this whole angle of Mrs. Parshuram, who has not even been mentioned so far. I would have been fine if they kept kids between romance as that kept giving the feel that they pretend to romance, and fight and argue in front of kids to make them feel real, but behind the doors both work on cases

This is one show, where I am unable to distinguish what all is lie and cover and what the heck is truth! It should have been titled as Kya Sach Kya Jooth?

Shiv and Shalini, let’s assume are spies working for the country. Why do they care about anything else other than their job. One has to be deeply committed and passionate for their country or purpose to become spies in first place.

These people choose to marry someone who will hide them well. Shalini’s choice is straightforward. A middle house wife whose life revolve around kids and husband. And the husband has to be bholabhala with middle class mentality. And someone who her family might not like because the family might know something about her right?

Parshuram also marriage can be a good cover. He wants someone who doesn’t question him and who is ready to leave everything for him. Or someone from high strata who will give connections to him at high level. They both orchestrated their marriage not knowing the other did the same .

I don’t think they had love marriage. It is marriage with purpose. However they might have fallen in love eventually. They are leading normal conjugal life and produced two kids. The kids are emotional entanglements right? If they are fully duty bound and kids are also part of the cover then their life would be easy. They can wash off their hands and go back anytime. But the point is they love the kids to the core and each other also(kind of established yesterday) ! Shalini is shown to have huge expectations on shiv. Shiv has no expectations from her still and doesn’t care about her feelings with regards to her family… which makes me think he can always choose his job over his family.

And I think both Shiv and Shalini are good people but their priorities are different. Shalini looks giving 100% to her family emotionally but she gets frustrated with shiv’s clumsiness. ps: yeah money part is doubtful. When operating at that level, does he even care about the money? Saving for home and all could be pretense. Or going by family man show, here also parshuram being a govt servant might get mediocre salary only. That part is unclear.

Question will always be where do they want conflict? It need not necessarily be between Husband and Wife; but between other aspects. So, even if they both know their profession, conflict can be on cases they fight, and all that like in B99 - Jake and Amy.

His ILUs and "Mrs. Deshmukhs" are his way to test Shalini's mood! If she softens or melts, that works, if not he needs to put in more efforts to keep things balanced. He definitely loves kids! He also mentioned it today to kids, that he loved them the most; but I do think he genuinely loved Shalini too. His ILUs may not always be genuine but his feelings are imo. Just that things don't make sense right now because of dual personality things and him fooling his family so easily.

In first two episodes I did not like him disrespecting his in-laws, but since I don't like them, I like him disrespecting themHope it's making sense.

I think he is middle class only, and that depends since when he has been undercover. If it's been after marriage, then he may really be middle class.

I think it will go Mr and Mrs smith way but here both work for the country and the establishment will pitch them against each other to cover up their corruption. Thats when they will both come together!!

I think the emphasis on 'Mrs. Deshmukh' now is to contrast with 'Mrs. Parshuram' later when her identity is revealed 😎.. let's see
