The internal circumstances are not known always. So the reasons for why Bhavika is getting treated as such can only be speculative unless some insider spills the beans sooner or later. They do that sometimes, at times they don’t.

Yes, I'm aware about the change in cast for YHM.

In fact CHARMED - which is one of my all time favorite shows, I know they filmed the pilot episode and then scrapped it followed by the casting of Alyssa Milano as Phoebe.

So no, I have no issues against the makers or the channel in general when they start working on a project, do mock shoots and other stuff.

BUT, it's also a fact that these days channel put a lot of pressure on the makers, often going out of the way and forcing them to change the storyline overnight just to survive in the rat race of TRP.

Yes, from a business perspective, that is how it's done. But when you force a major change in a creative process, majority of the time it backfires.

It's one thing to scrap a couple of episodes and an entirely different thing to lock someone, start the promotion and then scrap several episodes. This only showed their stupidity and laziness that they let something go on for quite some time, only to intervene at the eleventh hour, making an embarrassing situation for the actress.

Ultimately, it's their product. They can do whatever the hell they want to do with it. If it's good, I'll definitely appreciate the new actress and the show.

For now, I'm not interested in it anymore.

Not a new thing to happen. Didn’t Anupama replace the new gen lead within a couple of weeks of the show going for the leap? They hadn’t just promoted her as the new gen lead but she had also shot for a few episodes and was replaced overnight without any notice.

Better this happen before the show goes on air than what happened to that poor girl.

Not a new thing to happen BUT that most certainly doesn't make it okay or reasonable when you know for sure something shady was going behind.

I am not talking about Bhavika/Mounragam right now.

Since you brought up the topic about Anupama - it wasn't even a secret there. Everyone knew there was a problem. Some said it's because of Rupali's influence and some said it had something to do with the actress's religion/supported political party. I can't exactly remember which one was it.

People knew it and they openly bashed Shahi and supported the actress. She even got new and better projects after that.

Not to mention, till this day a lot of neutral fans think Adrija is worse as an actress and the casting decision was stupid.

Honestly, Bhavika is a good actress and she'll find something else in the future. So I'm not even worried about her losing out on a project.

As for the project, the channel has done their part. It's done and dusted. No amount of discussion is going to reverse it now.
