Yes parents can not force. But girls can't scape and marry without there guardian permission. Otherwise the marriage is null and any intimate relationship will be counted as zina. There is hadith about this.

14th century Sutan Suleiman( hreatest emperor of Turkey and one of the biggest teformer of Islam) made it compulsory.

Akbar in India (16th century) made it compulsory .But it could be older as Bangladesh was ruled by Sultans( Turkish).

A khalia stablish it does not mean it is compulsory. Well except the first 4.

For your info a marriage in Muslims laws is complete when it is made in public . And the groom take permission of marriage from the woman guardian (father, brother, uncle, ... etc) . And the bride should accept it. Registration or not is just formality. Because the community will hold him accountable.

Seher started to accept this marriage. As for her mother if the guardian (father) and the daughter accept .she doesn't have a say in it.

All your statements are contradictory. On one hand you say no forced marriage permitted in islam on the other hand you are saying since her father and brother permitted she has no choice but accept. Btw I am Muslim and I know these kind of forced marriage are not all allowed.

And why do you think all girls are desperate for male attention? What you are saying is the same as those people who use religion as a tool to control women. No a girl can very well prioritize education, jobs etc over marriage if that’s what she wants. Not only that marriage should not be forced on anyone, people should get married only if they want. Having children should be a choice too not something forced upon a person. In the US they are banning contraceptions and abortions with the intention of controlling women.
