KSG has cheated on everyone. That man can’t keep it in his pants for long. Not sure how he’s gone under radar post his marriage to Bipasha is all.

I remember when the news of their relationship was out. They had worked together on some show before he was on DMG iirc, in some interview he said he fell for Barkha because she has a sexy waist. I am not kidding. That quote is burned into my brain because I thought it was the lamest thing ever. It had made me question her sanity and I was a teen myself and thought if a boy told me he wants to date me only as he finds my waist sexy, I am about to show him my sandal to find out how sexy he finds it as well in no time.

When someone is into you solely for your body and one specific part of your body at that which they openly express, that’s not love not even infatuation. That’s lust plain and simple. If you wanna indulge in it, go on… but don’t fool yourself into believing its love or will ever be. Once that person gets their fill of your body, which they will, they will be out of that door in no time.

Regarding how playing such roles feels - girl’s a single mom who has bills to pay so doubt she cares much about the morality of her characters as long as she gets work and gets paid on time for that work. Just saw recently how Krishna Mukherjee, an actress who was on YHM, did a show on Dangal for some PH I had never heard about before. The producers locked her in her room, she was rescued by her costar, the male lead and her fees amounting something close to 40 lakhs is pending too for over a year now.

She says she’s in depression, debt and now also having PTSD regarding working again because of being locked up.

Yeah, money matters! But she can definitely do more, she has the potential but not sure what opportunities she gets!

Yes Smriti's too the same case, I always had the same question how she will feel while delivering such good wife dialogues.🙄🙄

However, for me Tulsi as a character must win.

The situation with Smriti is very… dicey and this is not me trying to defend her but simply trying to put the clues together.

Smriti apparently knew Mona Irani and her husband Zubin since she was a child/teen. They were family friends. She stayed with them when she first came to Mumbai as she had no place to go and rent was too high for her family to afford it for a long time. She was here to look for work in the TV industry, maybe even movies, but can’t be sure of it. The Iranis took her in as a guest as she was someone they knew for years.

Later, she would eventually bag Kavita and then Kyunki which made her a household name. Post that we would get to hear news about her marriage to her present husband Zubin who had divorced his wife with whom he also had a daughter of 9/10 years.

Smriti was in her late teens to early 20s when she came to stay with the Iranis. Her husband was already in his 40s. Hence the whole thing is murky. She’s at an age where she’s old enough to be a homewrecker if she wants knowingly but she’s also someone who has known this man since years before that and he has at least 15-7 years on her.

So did she have an EMA with him? Yes, most certainly she did. But is it possible that she was also groomed by him? Also yes. His age makes it very much possible for him to have taken advantage of her youth and naïveté, we can’t be certain when it started off too.

The reason why this possibility has stayed with me to give her the benefit of the doubt is not just the age gap tilting in his favour besides the horrendous idea of how these things do happen but also the fact that the ex wife in all her years has never come forward to blame Smriti even once. Not even when she was at the heights of her career and hadn’t yet entered politics and gained any clout and power. Not even after that.

Even newspapers didn’t come forward with articles digging up her past and they did so with Hiten almost as soon as his relationship with Gauri was confirmed. Mumbai Mirror had a very sordid and tasteless headline in their entertainment section talking about bones in his closet or something like that when they wrote about him being a divorcee.

Crazily, Hiten was interviewed for that article too wherein he accepted gracefully he had an arrange marriage almost as soon as he was of age and that marriage lasted only 11 or so months. He blamed himself for the failure of the same as well citing he didn’t give his new bride enough time as he was busy trying to get his foothold in the TV industry and bag some work. She didn’t get enough of his time and attention as she felt a new wife was supposed to have from her husband so they eventually decided to split as he was serious about having a career in this industry and he had no clue how long will it take to establish himself and later on couldn’t be sure of his working hours as well. This was not a 9-5 job. So they had a divorce with mutual consent and he said he doesn’t know her current whereabouts at the time but wished her well.

This was when Hiten Gauri were on Kyunki!

Smriti had entered politics but lost the election too… so the fact that press was so crude about her costars but never got a word on her is crazy.

Only the people involved know the reality and none of them has aired the dirty laundry in public yet and it’s been over 2 decades. Zubin Irani’s daughter from his first marriage hasn’t also come forward to accuse Smriti like it happened with Rupali not too long ago.

No wonder that Zubin didn’t give me good vibes as soon I searched who her husband was and I saw him. Then when I searched about him my suspicion was confirmed. Smriti was so young then 😥 I dislike how now she’s blamed for the whole thing when most likely she was the victim somewhat or fully, but no one talks about the main culprit. Shocked about Hiten. Never knew he was married to someone else before Guari

His fans know his reality if they can’t accept it then it’s just living in denial and you can’t make someone change that so don’t worry. Block and report them if you’re attacked.

Bipasha has been instrumental in him getting to even meet producers for movies so doubt he would openly cheat on her unless he gets a much bigger star to trap and marry him. The chances of that are never zero but also not sky high.

Barkha has limited options sorry to say. It’s not a personal attack but a reality of the industry. Everyone is replaceable, the competition is cutthroat, job guarantee is non-existent as your character can be written off at a day’s notice or the show could be cancelled at any time a channel wants. On OTT the work is always going to be limited as they either release movies or shows both of which have a decided timeframe from day one. Renewal of a show’s contract is not guaranteed either. You may be out of work in the blink of an eye.

The pay package is not always good too. There are also legit producers who are notorious for not paying their employees including actors on time and some have to be sued! TMKOC producer was sued for non payment of dues of over 1 crore! Age is also not a factor in her favour anymore as the older she gets the chances of her being a main lead diminish too. She can get work but as the saas/maa/bhabhi/chachi/mami types and there are plenty of people in the market for those who can work for lesser too.
