No wonder neither of the films want to budge cause look at the list of holidays...15 days bonanza for whichever film of the two is good!! Holidays continue till early April!!

Thats crazy..how many holidays do people in India even get? like 80 days tou holidays hon gi saal main..we have only 12 days here..5 for each eid..1 for national day and 1 for foundation day..

It's indeed a good time to release a mass-movie... however, honestly, I can't take serious these kind of predictions with numbers

A great release date is a double edge sword. 2 or 3 films will release on the same date,hoping to benefit from the hype of a clash.Sankranthi,Onam,Pongal sees multiple big releases. It probably works well.People who don't get tickets for one film,will buy available tickets,as it is a holiday.

Gudi Padwa is not a national holiday. In India states have their own set of holidays depending on that state's festivals, state foundation day, etc . Only some big festivals like Eid, Xmas, Diwali, etc are pan India holidays.

Gudi Padwa is a holiday in Maharashtra, Goa and southern states as they call it Ugadi. Any holiday is an advantage something Pt 1 did not have at all. And my post is not about the tweet's collection prediction being accurate but about the sheer number of holidays lined up in those 15 days.
