As for the third one. Remember he has PTSD to anything related to his mother. And hus aunt made him remember..... so him cutting is his PTSD mode taking over him 😢

Bro no violence pls, poor Seher already had enough torture with her dad, thank god she was in Husseinpur with her mom most of her childhood while her dad was in Lucknow if not I cant imagine how much worse it could have gotten. Manhandling I meant Mahid carrying Seher forcefully that aint suiting Mahid.

The sweet scene I cant with Seher saying mitai toh humare muh mai chalo gayi and the helper’s laugh smiley37But aisa hota hai kya smiley36

The third scene well I am not blaming Mahid for it, but the scene is so ridiculous smiley37 Aisa kaun bed cut karta hai smiley37 But yes I really did feel bad for Mahid here, his PTSD got triggered when Seher eloped, and I think he would have let Seher go and wont have brought her back if it wasnt got his Dada Huzur. Also it was clear the Fupijaan did nothing to help Mahid with PTSD in the past too and made it worse by badmouthing about his mom. I so cant tolerate the Fupijaan, Nazima is a clown , the Fupijaan is a bigger clown

That's straight up physical abuse.

What he did comes under manhandling, regardless of whatever his reasons are.

I sympathise with mahid but it isss manhandling. The way he was holding her face too.

Nope, just a manhandling. A punishment.

Surprisingly, I am still watching the series and enjoying it. I thought I would be annoyed after the marriage (this is what happened with the original dizi) but there is still an element of unknown here. The bed cutting was absurd, hilarious and I don't mind if we had more nonsensical scenes like that. It sort of cuts the tension and the seriousness of the drama and makes it more watchable. For that alone, we need more carpenter Mahid scenes. smiley36

You see. When you put logic aside, you can watch this show happily. It has many cute moments too.. like when Seher tried to listen to his phonecall to the hospital.smiley4 Even Parvez is less dangerous now that he remembers Mahid's threats whenever he thinks of harming Kausar.

It is also delightful to watch all phuppo's plans backfire. smiley36

I am not here for the cute moments. smiley37 I still find the age thing problematic and I think the show is walking a thin line. There is also some chatter about another show with underage actress and people didn't like some of the scenes. So this show has been more modest and mindful but they can always shoot themselves.

What I appreciate is that they show Sehar is still a kid in many ways. It was so sad when she repeated to herself that she wanted to be Dr Sehar and now she will be Mrs. She is also unsure how she is supposed to conduct herself and part of that confusion is because she is not an adult. So as long as the show is mindful and respectful of this topic, I will watch. I don't mind a few more nonsense scenes like cutting the bed. That was funny. smiley36

- the plot device to make Mehid family less toxic returned (I mean the GrandPa).

- Seher confronted / Questioned Nazima about the past events. she is a good & smart woman.

- the mother in law playing again. and it will backfire.

- Sulatana tried to make Kauther promise to not till the doctor about how the human trafficking related to her. and opened her mind about how the doctor family like her.

- based on this Kauther would start to have feelings for the doctor. but will not act on them. and later discover about her other daughter (Amal).

- the Question is : will Kauther divorce Seher father ? how her relationship with the doctor develop after the divorce ?

I really hope the show will have 40 or 50 minutes per episode. so the events move faster.

is this show a remake ?
if so, anyone watched the original fully or partially. please share the details about it. I am more interested about the story than the show it self.

yes this show is a remake but I don't know how closely they will follow it. I watched bits of it but I got bored and dropped it after these two got married. I checked in occasionally by just watching the trailers and glanced through the final eps.

So here is what I remember about the original:

-- dr fareed and kausar got married. my sense was divorce from prior spouses was messy. not sure what happened to sultana but she wasn't there in the later episodes I saw.

-- parvez had prosthetic hand. looked like he lost his hand as some sort of punishment for stealing??? who knows. he also got second wife and son

-- mahid and saher it seems had divorced. saher left abroad to study (in the original she was some math genius) and then came back home. they got remarried. he worked as some guidance counselor in fareed's hospital

-- the original ran into lot of problems with the turkish broadcaster and was put on pause few times. the drama was showing lot of regional political stuff and most of it blew right over my head. the group was also very conservative as well as controlling and plain weird. so there was barely in colour in terms of dressing and all the women were in full scarf and robe even in home scenes. there was also talks about the number of restrictions and they were essentially following their own interpretations rather than how the society/legal system acted. so it felt more like this was some sort of quasi cult.

-- not sure why but fareed actually was killed off. something to do with that group and their internal politics. kausar then takes over dada huzoor's place with the support of mahid and that uncle and basically modernizes it somewhat while also following the heart of the religion.

-- I think the intent of the show makers was to create debates about how religion is sometimes being misinterpreted and used to create oppressive groups. so they wanted to show the pluses and minuses of these small sects that fly under the radar and whether they are good or bad. so rather than romance or underage marriage or follow your dreams, it was more about oppression due to belief.
