He’s listening now because he knows the worth of her words and wisdom.

He knows he can’t undo what happened but he wants to make things better, do what’s right instead of what comes easy to him.

Acknowledging his mistakes, hearing her out and following her advice is the beginning of his journey towards becoming the best father he possibly could for his children.

With a calmer mind he now understands what his wife, the mother of his children; the only other person besides him who loves these kids like crazy and would take a bullet for them in a heartbeat was telling him all those years ago.

He assumed back then she was challenging his decision, that she had been on some ego/power trip egged on by Noina’s support of his decisions and Pari’s complaints. Now he knows, she wasn’t challenging him - she was looking out for their children to the best of her abilities and repeatedly endured so much humiliation, anger and frustration from him for no fault of hers. Yet she never complained once, never shouted back at him, never demeaned him in front of his kids.

Mihir knows now so much heartbreak and hurt could have been avoided if only he had done what he’s doing now - listen and trust.

Mittali and her friends would have had cops called on them if they had been raising a ruckus in one of their homes too beyond a point so them getting called out in a public place was very much anticipated and warranted. Just claiming one is classy doesn’t make them classy.

Munni probably never stepped into places like these until she became a collector but she conducted herself with the dignity that made someone else take affront on her behalf without her even having to ask for it!

Honestly, if you want a karaoke themed party then there are plenty of premises that would work for you and your friends. Just go there, book a table or a room per your needs in advance if it’s necessary and the place only serves those with prior reservations. Why go to a regular restaurant and think you can disturb people and get away with it?

I think Angad is just being an idiot like he was when he decided to expose Mittali. He likes to go solo, consequences of his decisions be damned on others.

His previous decision to elope rather than face Mihir hurt his parents. His decision now to bail Ran out could have had led to the death of his sister. Back then he could have exposed Mittali and called off the wedding but he didn’t, he could have simply faced Mihir when Mittali did what was expected of her, but he chose to run away.

Here he could have simply shown up at the police station to meet Ran, heard him out, pretended to find out how to bail him and then balked at finding out that he would need to cough up a decent amount of money - say at least 50K - 1 lakh for his bail. What could Ran have said and accused him of? Being a liar? Dude lives in a chawl with a wife and 2 kids, safe to say he doesn’t have that kind of cash lying around to just splurge without any repercussions now. It’s not like he’s maintaining the same lifestyle he did in SN where he could spend any amount of money which might be a big deal for an average middle class person but wouldn’t even register for a rich family.

He’s responsible for a family and answerable to at least his wife if no one else.

But so far he has never even been shown acknowledging his own role in messing up things for his parents let alone feel guilty about Pari getting killed almost and Garu losing her mother.

Angad at this point would easily blame his siblings for their actions and yet he’s not once shown the mirror and taken any accountability for his role in the mess as well.

I wonder if it will ever happen and if it does, who will do the honours at the time.

I agree with each and every word of yours.. Mihir is certainly on his way to at least being a better father.. if course, by listening to Tulsi.

- yes I am also unable to digest Angad’s total lack of accountability and placing the entire responsibility of the mess on Pari’s shoulders! Pari was at least selfish and hated tulsi back then! He himself toh claimed to love his parents, especially his mom!

- It’s really nice to discuss with u all, especially you, Ek Paheli!

- putting (-) just to separate the paras! Mere phone ka IF se shayad ek bhi Gunn nahi milta like Mihir-Noina😜😂

Thank you smiley1

I appreciate discussing here too because most people don’t mind a different POV and are also willing to engage respectfully. Also, when I feel something is weird or I don’t get something, sometimes I find my answers here too.

The discussions make watching the shows a fun experience and also a great way to make friends from all over the world. smiley1

Regarding your phone - try a different browser, maybe that can help.

Angad’s lack of accountability is something that has been my bone of contention always. I believe he has his own fair share of accountability towards the mess that ended up separating his parents. I don’t blame him for Mihir’s infidelity but I blame him for not having the courage to face his father when it was needed, not once thinking how his decision to run away and then marry Vrinda on that same day would aggravate the tension between his parents. I’m of the firm opinion that he married Vrinda that day so that he couldn’t be pressured into marrying Mittali when he did turn up at SN again.

He knew he would cave in. Else he could have simply confessed to Mihir he can’t marry Mittali as he’s in love with someone else. Even if he never got to the point of revealing Mittali’s ghost drama to Mihir he could have simply stood his ground and denied marrying so that 3 lives were not spoiled unnecessarily by his silence.

It’s crazy how no one has ever been angry at him but Mihir for that and honestly I don’t blame him entirely for this. Angad had exposed Mittali before but still went ahead with the engagement, and Mihir never forced him to do anything. To embarrass your family like this in front of so many people is a big deal and it shouldn’t be tolerated. Mihir’s words that day were harsh and unnecessary but his anger was justified and valid.

Regarding Mihir as a father - I personally think he’s a good father. The problem is, he’s a father who has blinders on. He either adores his children or ignores them. There’s no in-between for him. Regardless of the emotional state he’s in - he can’t be negligent and he certainly shouldn’t have been so indulgent. Pari took advantage of his love and affection; and he let her. Some part of him had to have known that but he didn’t listen to it and ignored it just as he ignored Pari and her suffering post leap.

As a parent, if you are blinded, then you have assured yourself that your child is destined for destruction and havoc. The scale of that destruction can only be known once it’s already come to pass and by then it’s already too late.

History has taught us that when parents are blind and their child is at the root of destruction they’re more likely to be like Duryodhan than Shravan Kumar.

Agreed with all you say once again!
parents (especially overindulgent or the reverse) are responsible for half the bad and irresponsible people in this society!!

- I know it’s safari browser causing the problem but now I am too used to it so let it be! I will keep using - for paras!

-I have also been thinking what you said - Mihir suggested Mitali to angad as a prospective life partner. Any young guy in that situation would have said pls let me meet her a few times and get to know her better before I can say yes or no! What was he even thinking when he said yes! Even later.. so many instances when he saw her real self. He could simply have said -papa I can’t marry her. Mihir would have been angry at him for a short while but wouldn’t have forced him. This way running away from mandap and marrying someone else same day - it’s like saying I don’t care the least about my family and what humiliation they will face!

-I think he will goof up again as it seems like he’s trying to trap RV but ulta padega again! And then Tulsi would scold him about never acting in a responsible manner

unpopular opinion- but what changes has ritik mentioned about? might have to play the devil's advocate but mitali was right about ritik that at least munni progressed to be a collector and he couldve made the choice to back out but he didn't ..yesterday he said nobody put a gun on her head to marry him but nobody put a gun on his head to marry her either...had he admitted that both of them were at fault for marrying each other, maybe some words could've made sense as mitali was anyhow behaving befizooli after munni told her off at the restaurant..the fighting scene was not needed to elongate the episode, as by now a lot of folks can figure the type of argument these two will have..

I was expecting there will be a high voltage drama around Munni's revelation as collector in front of Mitali and Mitali will be shamed in front of a huge crowd. But they wrapped up the whole thing very smoothly without much hue and crysmiley5There was a time jab sindoor daani ke zameen par girne se isse jyaada drama hota thasmiley24
