- yes Mihir is certainly apologetic - how much he’s regretting he doesn’t want to show her since he knows he no longer deserves her and so wants her to move on from him emotionally. Which is part of why he was quiet!
- I felt the same about mitali &friends’ behavior! They’re worse than boisterous toddlers and 2-3 years kids whose behavior isn’t corrected by elders! Even parents of such noisy kids would be told off in a restaurant by staff or fellow diners!

He humbly accepted his mistakes, heard her out, which he knows he should have done before. He’s seen the consequences of not listening to her and is watching his children pay the prices as he knows Hrithik is unhappy and discovered Pari was suffering too. He’s listening now because he knows the worth of her words and wisdom.
He knows he can’t undo what happened but he wants to make things better, do what’s right instead of what comes easy to him.
Acknowledging his mistakes, hearing her out and following her advice is the beginning of his journey towards becoming the best father he possibly could for his children.
With a calmer mind he now understands what his wife, the mother of his children; the only other person besides him who loves these kids like crazy and would take a bullet for them in a heartbeat was telling him all those years ago.
He assumed back then she was challenging his decision, that she had been on some ego/power trip egged on by Noina’s support of his decisions and Pari’s complaints. Now he knows, she wasn’t challenging him - she was looking out for their children to the best of her abilities and repeatedly endured so much humiliation, anger and frustration from him for no fault of hers. Yet she never complained once, never shouted back at him, never demeaned him in front of his kids.
Mihir knows now so much heartbreak and hurt could have been avoided if only he had done what he’s doing now - listen and trust.
Mittali and her friends would have had cops called on them if they had been raising a ruckus in one of their homes too beyond a point so them getting called out in a public place was very much anticipated and warranted. Just claiming one is classy doesn’t make them classy.
Munni probably never stepped into places like these until she became a collector but she conducted herself with the dignity that made someone else take affront on her behalf without her even having to ask for it!
Honestly, if you want a karaoke themed party then there are plenty of premises that would work for you and your friends. Just go there, book a table or a room per your needs in advance if it’s necessary and the place only serves those with prior reservations. Why go to a regular restaurant and think you can disturb people and get away with it?
I think Angad is just being an idiot like he was when he decided to expose Mittali. He likes to go solo, consequences of his decisions be damned on others.
His previous decision to elope rather than face Mihir hurt his parents. His decision now to bail Ran out could have had led to the death of his sister. Back then he could have exposed Mittali and called off the wedding but he didn’t, he could have simply faced Mihir when Mittali did what was expected of her, but he chose to run away.
Here he could have simply shown up at the police station to meet Ran, heard him out, pretended to find out how to bail him and then balked at finding out that he would need to cough up a decent amount of money - say at least 50K - 1 lakh for his bail. What could Ran have said and accused him of? Being a liar? Dude lives in a chawl with a wife and 2 kids, safe to say he doesn’t have that kind of cash lying around to just splurge without any repercussions now. It’s not like he’s maintaining the same lifestyle he did in SN where he could spend any amount of money which might be a big deal for an average middle class person but wouldn’t even register for a rich family.
He’s responsible for a family and answerable to at least his wife if no one else.
But so far he has never even been shown acknowledging his own role in messing up things for his parents let alone feel guilty about Pari getting killed almost and Garu losing her mother.
Angad at this point would easily blame his siblings for their actions and yet he’s not once shown the mirror and taken any accountability for his role in the mess as well.
I wonder if it will ever happen and if it does, who will do the honours at the time.
