In the name of cinematic liberty, the writers keep forgetting their own plot. Mannat reveals Neetu’s drugging issue yet everyone refuses to believe it and Neetu herself doesn’t admit anything even when Ronnie repeatedly questions her. This revelation leads to a major Manvik separation but there is no introspection from any character despite such a serious accusation rather story moved to Malla Vik wedding and Aish reveal. Later, during the ManVik wedding track, Vish and Malla’s plotting succeeds and Neetu puts the blame on Mannat and twisted the story to benefit vamps and the final blow happens when vamps disclosed the truth this time in front of Vikrant. There are massive inconsistencies in how this issue should have been addressed versus how it actually was. This is the core problem with Mannat’s writing team that they introduce strong plots and then leave them midway, which ends up changing the entire narrative. The character who exposes the truth for the first time is later shown supporting the opposite stance for various reasons. I’m not even countering those reasons here but the writers failed to protect their leads, and that doesn’t goes well with the audience. I saw Ronnie’s IV where he mentioned that people are liking this two house setup and that it’s getting numbers. This indicates that Mukta is in no mood right now to move towards ManVik togetherness. According to him, Ronnie won’t soften towards Vik for now, he does feel emotional on meeting him but nothing beyond that.

This switch did not happen because they forgot the story... it happened because they decided to whitewash Neetu and got Vish/DK for that purpose.... moving away from OG
As per the changed narrative Mannat had no role to play in drugging issue. Recall the post skit Mannat Vish fight...
Mannat did not confront Neetu (as she told to Vish) neither did she had anything to do with the meds (we have seen Mannat switching them and throwing them)... but as per changed narrative Neetu realised her mistake on her own and threw them out... so technically as per the new narrative Mannat did not lie to Vik about the meds.
What she did so however is when Neetu told her she was taking anti depressants... Mannat did not find it necessary to inform this to Vik.... a false allegation Neetu put on Mannat during haldi fiasco.... later the same meds were brought out during wedding...
In all this Vik and the characters conveniently forgot (or were made to forget as per new narrative) that Mannat had infact brought this truth out.... Vik did not believe her then... almost threw her out of the house.
This is also why he never bothered to get himself tested (just to prove Mannat wrong) and believed Neetu even though he himself had realised he used to black out after drinking Neetus juice.
Whether or not Mannat had lied about drugging... it was always meant to blamed on her.
. I did see many of manit fans specifically routing for them and I am saying this based on their user names on Instagram. So, good for them because they are liking this narrative.
