Not necessarily mastermind but someone who is dangerous in their own way. This person can be a partner… as in he/she helps Ran forge documents and commit frauds. In turn they get some part of whatever they steal from the Viranis too.

Ran doesn’t seem book smart enough to know to do these things. So he has help. He is from a poor family who lived in a chawl. That he somehow trapped this idiotic girl itself is unbelievable, how can he cook books for a company that likely is worth crores?

Frankly it could be Noina.

Like they way he is toying with his property Gautam, the eldest with highest rights on parents property (at least socially or religiously if not legally), should definitely get angry at it, if Tulsi didn't do anything to stop Mihir then all the more.
