I don't think Mandira loved Karan only because he was Mihir's child, but I can understand if Karan took it that way once the truth was revealed

to be honest even then he didn't immediately start hating Mandira, the scene where Payal slaps Karan (with an intent to expose Priyanka) actually had Karan standing for Mandira (despite knowing Viranis will hate that) and told that whatever she did was wrong but that doesn't mean anyone can badmouth her after her death..He still had love for her despite an anger

But then it was revealed that Priyanka is Mandira so a second blow. it was like not just my mother cheated me once but she can do it repeatedly.

So I agree, he started not loving her, I still feel hate is a strong word because he never did anything against her till the time she decided to abduct Bhoomi, even while his plan when Aditya and Mandira were married was to just save Gautam and not to harm Mandira

But even if you don't love, she still is your mother, you can't change that fact, can you at least adress her respectfully. Not use her name while talking about her

I really hoped a track back then when Mandira was ill/bed ridden and Karan doesn't know what to do

Aditya Gujral 's issue with Viranis was due to Ansh, for Ansh Karan was his biggest enemy, Tulsi became so because she started supporting Karan, else he had taken Tulsi as a tool to get at Karan..

I mean how do you explain Mandira meeting Mihir in Australia when she’s presumed dead? She would’ve needed her passport, money to get there. Once she was presumed dead, logically Anupam and his mother would empty out her belongings to donate them to the poor and the needy. That’s considered as an important ritual in our culture to help the family mourn, move on and is also associated with being an integral part of helping the departed soul move on and perhaps attain Moksh if they’re so lucky.

How did Anupam and/or his mom never realise that Mandira’s important documents were gone? She certainly couldn’t get everything made in Australia! Fine, this didn’t occur to them. They were not thinking.

But any family would have closed her bank accounts, got her assets transferred to Anupam’s name or even if Anupam would use whatever assets Mandira had in her bank accounts and in terms of properties for charity they had to do the legal process for that as well! Mandira would have owned a part of Kapadia industries, some shares… after her alleged death she couldn’t sell them… and if someone was selling his dead sister’s shares how did Anupam as the owner never find out about that? How did he never get this apparent fraudster investigated? There were bound to be FDs, mutual funds, bonds and even jewellery.

If Anupam went through the process of closing all her bank accounts, doing all the paperwork and legalities required for transferring/closing off of the assets of a deceased family member how did he never find out Mandira’s transaction history? She either withdrew really large amount of money from a single bank or did it in small amounts via multiple bank accounts or she emptied some account/s entirely to settle in Australia.

Think about it - for how long did Mandira stay in Australia before she met Mihir there and eventually conceived Karan via their ONS?

How did she know Mihir would be in Australia at that point of time and how did she find him in such a huge country in precisely the city he was in? What if Mihir had never shown up in Australia or had been accompanied by Tulsi and Shobha on the trip as well instead of being alone? How would Mandira have played her - poor amnesiac drama then?

I meant we saw this sister pop up only after Nandini was introduced as a character but not when Hemant Pooja track was on and Pooja had to marry Rajeev or whatever was the name of her first husband and later Hemant, I genuinely don’t remember meeting Pooja’s family as in her parents, siblings pre leap. Literally anyone.

This sister/cousin just randomly appears for a while but never again. She doesn’t appear when Pooja marries Hemant, when anyone in the Virani family marries or dies. She doesn’t even turn up when Nandini is marrying Karan later or when she goes in a coma for years or once she wakes up. And she’s supposed to be Nandini’s mom!
