He is surrounded by some of the most dangerous people including that kid Yuvi and people expect him to keep Dua with him. The guy can never prioritize his own people, bold of people to assume he will keep Dua above everyone. To make him come out of this mentality, again some expose needs to happen or someone has to show him something, so again treat him as a princess and hand everything on the platter.

I can understand him being stuck but I can never understand his lack of conscience, that makes his character too linear. He just takes one thought and goes with it without trying to make sense out of it. First show some human tendency in him like little bit of empathy and conscience, then they can move towards ManVik and Dua.

Holy moly! I agree with every single word. This man needs a psychiatrist ASAP & definitely anger management!

The fact that he always repeats his mistakes shows that there is no conscience or the ability & want to change. He wants to be spoon fed. Partly bcos of RoTu’s pampering (?) and rest must be his core personality.

His ego is hurt that someone chose his brother (make that ANYONE) over him.

A child needs a healthy environment to grow up. A child coming from a problematic environment grows up with lot of issues & trauma which parents might not be able to navigate later on. Each child is different & reacts differently.

The decision to assess the situation & tell the truth when Dua is a kid or a teenager solely lies with Mannat (not even DK)

Bold, Exactly both are wrong and need to understand their mistakes and neither have even acknowledged yet what mistakes they have done.

Lets wait it out a few more months to find out how Dua reacts to their lies and if the writers will go all out to make one side as crystal clear while the other side is always wrong.

I already mentioned na, why she said that. She is operating out of fear. Her concern & therefore the dialogue aren't ridiculous.

She is a mother now. Whatever decision she takes will affect Dua in the long term. Dua just like Mannat is a daughter of a single mom. While in Mannat's case some decisions worked in her favour which Shruti took doesn't mean will work for Dua if Mannat takes the same decision. The time, the circumstance, the people around her way too different. She needs to keep all these things in mind & then decide.

Red... because he is the ML.... if there is anyone who should be showing 'growth' it is him.... not any sidey... nor RoTu... last I checked.... everyone who didnt want a leap was hoping and waiting for Viks redemption.... even yesterday there were comments that he didnt show tiniest of empathy for Dua when Mannat was being taken away.... everyone is waiting for Viks redemption... and as per the story makers are showing Dua DK bond looks like how he will be redeemed.... if you dont see it that way.... then nothing can convince you...

But why should there be any expectations from side characters confuses me???

Blue... no they havent... both the forum and X was heavily criticizing her for panic and downplaying her trauma ... questioning a hug while Vik did exactly what she had feared. X was questioning why Mannat called Vik as destroyer of their lives when she knew how he would react and he is doing the same thing she anticipated...

The frustration at certain characters is understandable, it was for Malla... it will happen for Y in future .... but I have it said n number of times to you.... understand where the character stands... they are not going to behave the way we expect because they dont know the full truth.... we can question and judge them when the whole truth is presented to them...

If Vik gets leeway for acting obnoxious... so should everyone else.... extend the same courtesy to every character... Dua.. a 7 year old is expected to be sane and mature and not form wrong opinions of Vik but ML gets a free pass because his alternative is not a villain and has done certain favours?
