Writers too may not remember what they wrote in the last episode 😂. I always have this problem with Indian TV shows -- there is no link with what was said in the previous episodes, as the writers and directors keep changing.

Now, if I want to defend that dialog: Dharya was a father (not being like a father figure), and Dua accepted him as her father with no questions asked. She chose him and didn't look around to fill that gap. If he had acted like a father figure with no real emotions invested, she would have shared a formal relationship with him.

A lie is much better when the truth is much more life-altering and dangerous.

So now we are saying Dua didn't question Mannat's lies if he is dad or not

The are not writers, else they wouldn't be writing such junk

In this matter money and status doesn't matter. It's still considered as a stigma. That's how sometimes society behave but now that's not the case.

When on all documents Mom's name was included it was a welcome change in our society and mindset of people.

It gave that security to those women and kids who were suffering from this mindset. Specially kids were born because of sexual abuse. They don't need their fathers name. Nowadays so many kids go with their moms name. I can give you some celebrity names also.

Then why show this cliche? I would've preferred Mannat giving her name to Dua. Just like Shruti gave her and raised her on her own without any male support in her life.

Its not about societal stigma...mannat can face all of it, but what about dua...

See....malla is pretty clear about her partner status that her partner cheated on her and left her.... This way she can teach yuvi to be strong and answer back in such situations and not get effected because they are not at fault....its the fault of father

yuvi can easily be taught to be confident and not get effected with such allegations of society because he knows he or his mother are not at fault,it is his father who left them and he is at fault....But how can mannat teach dua to be strong and not get effected without giving her a reason as to why her father is not around her.....

Mannat doesn't want to say vik betrayed her,because despite of whatever happened she still can't believe vik did all of it, and may be she doesn't want vik to face societal wrath even indirectly...she can't say vik and her are seperated/divorced because then dua would want to meet vik, which vik won't accept as per mannat and dua will have abandonment issues at such young age..mannat cannot say vik died...basically mannat has no answers to give to dua

So she cannot give the child her name, because then society will ask Dua about her father and dua will not have any answer to give to them and she might get effected because of all of these... And mannat is not yet ready for real marriage, so through fake marriage ..vik will not get societal wrath, Dua will not get effected by societal allegations, and mannat need not be in a real marriage where she cannot do justice to that relationship..

I am saying Dua accepted him as her father. Like kids do in a normal family.

How would Dua know DK is not her father???? A kid (like pichla janam girl will question when they don't see one) She must have seen couples around and presumed... Mannat DK and RoTu didnt correct her... thats true.

Just wondering if Mannat had given Vikrant aa father after what was said during divorce paper signing, if Vikrant had moved on...what would be Duas state of mind when a DNA proves her paternity.?

Mannat forms relationship with people due to the wave length they share. She treats Gagan and Ronnie as her father though in the eyes of law they are not connected.

Dua has a beautiful bond with DK. He showers her with love, Pampering and also imparts life lessons and is the protective kavach for the family..

They let it be because the real father was not returning in their lives. There was no waiting for him or a good story of his absence to tell the daughter.
