They will drag for sure. Infect in OG as well kaushiki was left on guessing and even hiring a spy to find out if Tarini is undercover cop (Jess). She unsuccessfully tries multiple times by forcing her to blurt out her reality aka jagdhatri Sanyal is Jess ( Marathi remake has changed name to Tarini). Finally she gets to know when Tarini saves her.
The continuity probably was broken because channel wanted to promote new show that would be starting from Monday. The minister who came to meet, is playing a role of minister in the new show.
