Currently watching S3 and I have to agree! S3 had such an iconic cast, and there was a significant improvement in the VFX. (I still think about the naagin fight in Ep. 28.) It's always been between S2 and S3 for my favourite season, but I can't ever see myself wanting to re-watch S2.

Naagin 3 was peak with everything VFX, Good Production Value, Cast, Storyline, BGM!! It had lots of fresh - surprising element, modern, shock value with different twist and turns which didn't got shown in the first two seasons, made it huge success after season 01

- Surbhi Jyoti outshined the original Naagin Mouni in many scenes, her battling for Naagmani - Episode 22 is still iconic or Defeating Jamuni - Episode 17 or Fooling Vikrant - Episode 47, no Naagin can match her those aura till date even her emotional scenes were great! No doubt Season 03 revived the show ratings that time after Season 02 hugely saw declined in the ratings (around 2+ TRP) over the last couple of months in its runtime and and season 2 finale received 1.9+ TRP

- Replacing Mouni as a lead was biggest challenge and Surbhi managed to did that, maintained the show ratings 4+ TRP for many months till the makers prolonged the story! She was well accepted and still the best Naagrani and the couple BeHir was and still is ❤️

The plot twists were actually good! There was a bigger cast, which meant more family members, but also more enemies, and I feel like this is something that was continued in S4 and on. And BeHir is still my favourite couple - the chemistry, Manwa Lage as their BGM which I will never shut up about, and Mahir being the greenest flag.

Surbhi had a lot to live up to, not just in replacing Mouni, but also sharing the screen with actresses like Anita and Rakshanda, who have such a commanding screen presence of their own. She was so good in this role, like, Ep. 47 is what made me the #1 Bela fan. ("Aise naagraj banoge tum?" plays in my head whenever I have to deal with men and their nonsense )

Also, the sword fight in Ep. 22 was cool, it's the only reason why I liked that episode.
