Surekha Ji made that show iconic. The woman was so brilliant as Dadi Saa that you went from hating her, being terrified of her to eventually loving her and finding her cute.

They made sure that despite her being so rigid and orthodox in her mindset, when her own grandson was in the wrong she didn’t favour him and kick Anandi out like used tissue paper. Rather she cut ties with him.

BV showed that people are capable of being multifaceted. Dadisaa doesn’t suddenly become a good person overnight. Rather she’s who she is always. She simply cannot bring herself to be unfair to the girl who did everything that was asked of her, was expected of her as a bahu, as a wife and still got humiliated for the same and punished.

She couldn’t be unfair to Anandi for being the wife, the bahu that everyone told her she had to be but who was now seen as an embarrassment by her own grandson whom she allowed to pursue education.

I loved how she treated Anandi later on as her own child and got her married to Shiv. She was adamant that nothing and no one but the best would be enough for Anandi and when she felt Shiv was the best choice possible for her she didn’t stop until she got them married even though Anandi herself had not yet even imagined about moving on let alone fallen for Shiv.

I don’t like to shade people, I am simply requesting that keep the EDT interesting. I don’t know if you watched Bade ache Lagte hai 2 starring Nakul Mehta and Disha Parmar. The analysis on that forum was so good. If you have experienced that you will understand why I keep saying that stick to the point and make the EDT interesting. No offense meant to anyone and there is absolutely no need to be rude.

Prachi or Ram said that in some IV and couldn’t stop laughing about the fact either. Her family couldn’t accompany her to shoot abroad and since she was travelling as a minor the country required Prachi to have a legal guardian who was travelling with her.

I think Ram jokingly said that this real life incident made him truly feel like he was old enough to be her dad more than anything on the show had ever done
