Why is Mihir upset with Angad?

I have watched S2 on and off as new faces bored me. Can anyone tell me why Mihir is angry with Angad and threw him out if what Tulsi said in hospital is correct? Is it because he married Vrinda against his parent’s wish? Isn’t that exactly what Mihir had done himself?

Yes. Angad was supposed to marry Mitali.

He left her in mandap at home and married Vrinda.

Mitali deceived him, and promised to break tne marriage herself but then flipped, leaving him without choice.

He’s not angry at Angad for eloping but for eloping and getting married to Vrinda when he was supposed to be getting married to Mittali.

His whole family and friends, their relatives everyone they invited to the wedding was there. Mihir finds out his son is getting married via news channels covering him being one of the grooms getting married in a huge samuhik vivaah ceremony because Vrinda’s mom tips off some journalist she somehow happens to know regarding the wedding. When Mihir reaches the venue, he finds Tulsi is already there and watches Angad Vrinda bending down in front of her to take her blessings. So he naturally assumes the worst and believes his wife knew everything about this and supported him in this matter. He felt angry and guilty about his son being responsible for causing a girl he believes to be good so much shame, humiliation and heartbreak.

Exactly my point. I thought Angad has done something terribly wrong 😀

Plus his lady love noina also manupulated him. And blamed tulsi and angad for the happening. She knew her niece was playing games and acting possessed.

1. Because Noina already informed Mihir day before the wedding that Tulsi didn't want Mitali as her Bahu.

2. Mitali already knew Angad proposed Vrinda, and he would marry her anyway as Noina collected proof - don't know how- Angad proposing Vrinda with Tulsi being present there (but Tulsi there was to take Angad away from Vrinda).

3. When Mihir confronted Angad over eloping with Vrinda, Noina showed the video, presenting as if Angad and Tulsi had planned to break the wedding in the altar, ruining Mitali's reputation and Noina's too.

4. Vrinda’s mom made it difficult with her greediness.

5. When Mihir threw cheque book on Vrinda’s face, Angad defended Vrinda which enraged Mihir more as he thought his son is defending a wrong girl over his father. And it happened thrice in the same episode. Mihir insulted Vrinda -> Angad defended Vrinda.

6. Pre leap it was shown both father and son wanted to mend their relationship, once it was in the episode where they met at the market and another in a restaurant where both father and son defended themselves but everytime both backed out due to. Like Mihir thought he chose Vrinda over him and Angad for he wanted to prove himself in front of his father.

7. Post leap, Angad hates him because he cheated Tulsi and Mihir toh doesn't care about anyone else.
