Also, Dev being spoiled like this can ensure Gayatri is either humbled/humiliated when her own great grandson turns out to be a rotten egg.

Kiran can take potshots at Hemant owing to his grandson, though we don’t know how Kiran’s own grandson via Karishma is like yet and may never know unless he shows up…

With the potential love triangle teased it can also ensure Gayatri versus Tulsi happens again if necessary because Tulsi will be seen and automatically assumed to be favouring Parth over Dev. So future clash of grandma v/s great grandma… ensuring Gayatri doesn’t stay nice for too long and can be included in team Noina for future drama for the sake of her great grandson if nothing else

Well, Parth too has been accepted thanks to Karan Nandini, but the actor is weak In some scenes he’s good and then in other scenes he just tolerable. It also helps that his character is written well somewhat especially when he’s with Dev that you realize how much better he’s compared to him. It’s like those rare cases where the fl and vamp are both annoying, but because the vamp is worse so you somehow support the annoying fl even though she’s annoying too. Basically Karan Nandini and now Dev is making him look good
