She cannot be completely illiterate else the possibility itself doesn’t work. Though how is she shown as a collector is beyond me tbh. To get appointed as a collector not only do you have to study and pass UPSC but also undergo training which involves being assigned to junior roles like Assistant collector or Sub-district magistrate.

Even if Munni can be shown as an exceptionally bright girl who cracked UPSC in her first attempt itself, they can even show that she completed her course via Hindi to further make it believable, the timeline still doesn’t work.

They can show that she was studying part-time or via correspondence (I think they did show this but am unsure ATM of the same).

Here is a breakdown of the typical timeline:

Mumbai is a district so Munni can’t be collector here unless she’s in her 30s. Given the whole process itself takes at least 11 years and say she completed her bachelor’s at 21, as a baseline. 4 of the 6 years would be spent in studying for UPSC, then basic training and even then she qualifies for the position of an assistant at most, where she has to spend a minimum of 4 years to even get promoted to the job of district collector.

How has Munni managed what takes others close to a decade in barely 6 years is beyond me. Even if she’s a protege with a photographic memory who can crack UPSC in one go after studying barely for months, the training process itself would still take years because there’s no going around that in Indian bureaucracy even if you’re as smart as Einstein!

I think Hrithik is too ashamed of facing Tulsi. He married Noyna’s niece and even had a kid with her in basically one year of Tulsi leaving. Forget about failing to find her or even trying to do so, he has made sure Noyna stays connected to the family permanently by this marriage and his daughter. How can he face Tulsi then when she doesn’t know this?

Hrithik gave Noyna and Suchitra a legal relationship with the Viranis.

As for Mihir, I think his actions today can be amounted to selfishness combined with guilt and reverse psychology.

He knew that he couldn’t get Tulsi to forgive him, he wants her close, for her to extend her stay in Mumbai, for her to be around him but knew that she wouldn’t listen to him. She won’t be home, he figured out she was avoiding this exhibition/competition to avoid being around him. So he did what he did to get her to stay.
