All the best to the team

I never see war based movies be it from pak or india because no one needs hyper nationalism from movies when already so much is existing..this however was an exception and indeed an amazing one. To make a movie based on war without selling hatred, jingoism and hyper nationalism is such a refreshing change to witness. 2026 is off to a great start.

1971 war between India vs Pakistan started because India intervened a genocide being carried out by Pakistan against Bengalis
I want to understand the mind which has compassion and love for people who carried out such atrocities against women, children and men
Loving Anti-war movie on a war which ended genocide is a choice
Exactly! 1971 war is not the ideal subject if one wishes to convey an anti war message. The horrific genocide unleashed by the Pakistani army in East Pakistan forced nearly 10 million civilians to flee into India. Indira Gandhi and Indian diplomats sought international intervention, but none came. It was Pakistan that ultimately initiated the war by attacking India, after which India retaliated and played a decisive role in ending the genocide and liberating Bangladesh. The pakistani army’s mass rapes and murders of Bengalis are internationally documented, as is the fact that pakistan struck first. This was not a war of choice but one that was forced upon India. And the country fought back to defend itself and to stop genocide and mass rapes. Sanitizing the aggressor in this context is insensitive and tone deaf.Originally posted by: MsWhiskerson

One committed genocide and horrific war crimes. Another stepped in to save people. They're NOT the same .

Maybe some are unhappy that genocide was stopped, there's no other reason to be compassionate towards an army which carried out genocide and hating a war which ended it
When people tell who they are and what they support, believe them
People only scream on top of their voices on genocide when it comes to a particular region serving a very specific propaganda, like in Gaza .
Otherwise , we're cool with war crimes and genocide and the side committed it !!
What can I even say about the mentality of such people who make such movies and those who support it ! Wah wah !
Aman ka tamasha indeed !
