Some say it's coz of falling TRP which he has managed to pull it back up after all the circus he will be back into the washing machine company soon

To me, that sounds like an utterly fake debate in the endeavour to further get influence on the Hindi filmindustry

Goswami anyways isn't someone to deserve trust in what he peddles (imo)... the Akshaye Khanna remark seems to have been a paid remark because of Khanna's decision to not participate anymore in Drishyam 3.

The demand for more 'reality' focussed movies is a pretext for hailing movies that make an alleged reality out of a true reality... sometimes the entertainment industry reflects true reality much more than those alleged reality-focussing movies.

Since 2014, there are strong attempts to get a hold over an industry that - traditionally - was a hub of secularism. Latter gradually got undermined by movies with certain narratives supported (or wished?) by a government with very clear agendas but little genuine interest into working for a positive change of the daily life problems the country's population has to face in times where a well caring government could be helpful.

Since 11 years, it is remarkable how often the Hindi filmindustry is used (and explicitely the Hindi one), to divert from genuine problems with the help of media outlets, extensive social media use and through movies itself, not shying away to use central offices to do dirty work for that.

So, no, not for a second I would believe in any positive agenda behind Goswami's demand.

Sahi bol raha hai, don't watch Dhurandhar, kionki dekh toh li hai.

Maybe he changed his personal sponsor... still he remains one of the most corrupt media men in my opinion. Regardless that he may now get paid by the opposition, to me, he remains utterly self-centered in getting attention (or TRPs).
