We made it!!!!! Ok well, we've nearly made it. Just a few more hours to go and we will be welcoming year 2026!!!
While different cultures celebrate their traditional/religious new year's day according to their own customs, many cultures celebrate 1st January in some way or the other. A special celebration which sees different traditions from around the world, some that warm the heart and some that raise eyebrows:
Spain - Eating 12 grapes at midnight
Mexico - Wear coloured underwear
Romania - Toss a coin in the river
Ireland - Leaving doors unlocked
Australia - Watching fireworks

It has been a rollercoaster few years for many of us across the world, endless wars, division between conflicting cultures and the youth seeing very little hope for their futures. Nevertheless, new year brings new tidings, new hopes, new dreams and new resolutions. Life is all about challenges, embracing change and never giving up. As we battle our way through this journey of life, let us remember to stop and reflect on what truly matters, being kind, loving family and supporting friends and those in need wherever possible.
As we bid farewell to 2025, let's embrace 2026 with a smile, knowing there are far better things ahead than any we have left behind.

But wait up friends, there is a catch. We don't want you setting yourself resolutions.. instead we want you to tag a friend and set them a new year resolution.
