Kabir disappeared from the show and was never heard from again. The never ending drama and long list of Viranis was too much for him to handle and memorise for the sake of a friend who also got him beat and arrested

For Damini I think that's exactly was the reason. But then later they made Riva a part of evil bahu trio with Tanya and Trupti

Kabir was like bahut hua, uselessly tere chakkar me Ghar bar chhod diya(since Karan never came to India beforehand, I think we can conclude that Kabir became friends to him while in Australia/America) aur ye log Mera kuchh aur to chhodo face bhi consistent nhi rakh rahe hain

Karan got him beaten(not sure about arrested), but he was like never even acknowledged him as the closest friend. Like the guy is literally giving up everything for you even his well being and when it comes to you declaring your friends name it's always Ganga and Sahil who never even tried to understand your POV...

@bold that's what I am saying this wasn't "a mistake", mistakes are minor, this was him not fulfilling his duties, this was kind of a sin, which might have destroyed the life of two individuals forever (had Tulsi and later Nandani not returned to correct them)

You need to understand the difference, I never said that he should have given time to Tanya, because he never committed anything to Tanya and was clear since start that it is an arrangement/substitution for children to have a mother. And Tanya willingly as an adult agreed to it. Post that her expecting anything from this marriage was her problem.

But it's a completely different case when it comes to children. Both the children came to this world because of his actions. Manthan because of his ONS, and Bhoomi because he insisted Nandani to not have an abortion with a commitment that he would the father and give this child everything . The children didn't have any say in them coming onto this earth. It was because of Karan's actions. Now once that has happened you are responsible for your actions. The children are completely dependent on you. They are your responsibility. You can't ignore that thereby leading to destruction of their lives and say it was "a mistake"

Yes his intentions were never bad about his children and that's why he scolded Manthan when he disrespected Ba, but children aren't raised by "intentions" they are raised by actions and years of it. Just scolding an adult child in front of everyone is never a way to inculcate sanskaar in your children. If anything it will only lead the child further haywire. Even if you have to scold, when you first time see your child doing wrong. You have to reach out to him/her after things have calmed down. Explain him/her the things. Tell him/her than you are always there with them, but for that they have to ensure that they too don't do anything bad.

In this particular case, Karan's behaviour was as wrong as Tanya's

And about spending more time, it's never about spending more time, it's about spending quality time. If he had spent even a small time with the children but kept an eye on how Tanya was raising them, that would have been sufficient. Aside if the children weren't being raised well, then he needed to spend more time with them.

On Mandira's case, she just acted mentally unstable and as a victim. She never told anything wrong about anyone (including Mihir) to him. The anger/revenge of Karan was the result of his understanding of the situation. Not Mandira verbally force feeding hatred into him

When did I say that you said karan should spend time with tanya ? When did I even discuss the equation between karan and tanya in this discussion?

I don't agree with you , it's solely about spending enough time .If karan had spent more time with bhoomi and manthan , he would have been able to pass on his good values to them directly. Because he spent so little time with them , he only ever saw their wrongdoings, which he disliked and tried to correct by scolding them .However, since tanya always took their side and favored them , the children felt emboldened and could never realize their own mistakes.

When karan came in sn the whole virani family welcome him , priyanka hugs karan, she talks about mandira but karan stops her and tells her that it's because of her that he always misunderstood his father . Mandira also lies to karan that he has seen tulsi poisoning her. Mandira brought up karan by poisoning his mind against mihir and encouraged him to take her revenge. Karan tells tulsi and the others that he has no grudges against any of them , and he fights only to get justice for his mother who was wronged by Mihir.

I love the Tere Saath Ho Jo. Loved it in the anniversary episode too. But there was another Kyunki bgm played in the anniversary too. I loved that one a lot. It was when TuHir were putting the flowers on one another. That song used to play a lot in OG Kyunki, especially on Gozmi and Teesha I think. Are you able to upload that scene of TuHir where that song was played? I will see if I can do on my own if I can find the episode video

i used to love karan virani bgm the tashan one the sad one

especially one that was played wihen nandini married ansh in front of karan and than she sees him in window from top

those were OG scenes of a broken lover karan seeing his lady love having one night with his own brother

i doubt such scenes or chemistry can be recreated in any serial of today

karan tulsi and karan nandini have many such beautiful scenes in kyunki1
