'Since Anupamaa every year has been..': Alpana Buch aka Leela looks back on 2025, opens up on costars

2025 is wrapping up, and actor Alpana Buch, who is seen as Baa in Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi's Anupamaa, which is produced under their banner Shahi Productions Pvt Ltd, says she wants to become a healthier version of herself in 2026.

Asked what she wants to leave behind in 2025, she said, "I will leave eating sweets for better health next year."

Personally she is grateful for her family, friends, and her fans, who always have supported her unconditionally with loads of love. On the professional front, she is grateful to be a part of Anupamaa. She said, "The show got me the unexpected success, prosperity, and popularity in the last 5 years. So like the past years, even 2025 taught me to be grateful to the almighty God and everyone who has supported me through this ongoing success journey of Anupamaa."

She continued that the past five years have been full of growth and love for her. She said, "Back in 2020, Rajan Shahiji considered me for the character of Leela Baa in the serial Anupamaa; since then, every passing year, including 2025, has been a year of growth and prosperity. I thank God for giving me this golden opportunity named Anupamaa, and I am and will always be thankful to Director's Kut and Rajanji for considering me as Leela Baa."

Alpana called Anupamaa her extended family and said, "That's the reason I am always in my comfort zone." As for a milestone of her character, she said, "It's that moment in the story where Baa accepts Anupamaa as she is."
