That must probably be the case. I hope they show that as the show progresses.

About getting close to Vishaka: He would have if she was not so on-your-face greedy.

And yes there literally is no backstory as to why vik is being the way he is... And even his meltdown infront of sruti's pic cannot provide a clear picture of what happened... And why he doesn't even care enough for rotu to atleast know if they are dead or alive... How they are doing healthwise..?

I think a friend cannot fill the void that is eating up Vikrant. He is hoping Yashica as GF will heal him.

About Ronnie and Neetu: we may get a clearer picture when he meets them again.

Usually when fl sees Ml with other woman and misunderstands ,audience will feel bad for both fl and ml because fl had to witness such scene and also for ml because fl is misunderstanding ml..... But here there is no misunderstanding, ml is actually In relationship (according to actors iv).... So why would audience feel bad for ml or want manvik back.... Instead they will feel double sorry for fl because she not only has to witness the scene but the scenario is true too.... Then they would want mannat to move on too....

I personally feel mannat should move on too.... I am saying this because I am not at all understanding vik and his so called longing for mannat... And his feeling that he is not able to move on is not true....though they didn't explicitly show in episodes that they are in relationship..but if it is what their narrative is then....from that pov...He did move on , not entirely but the process has started the minute he would have agreed to be in relationship.... How is that he is saying he didn't move on when he cares for yashika so much, trusts her enough to let her take independent decisions of his business and home too.... And even allows her to be close to him, it's only time before he would reciprocate yashika's advances....

When makers are showing all of this for vik... Then why should audience still pin hopes for manvik or wait for vik redemption or mannat's forgiveness??

Writers can’t think beyond this MU/jealousy/vamp plotting/separation and fool of a ml storyline.

They have purposely not provided any more insights into Vik’s 7 years….. his state of mind, rationalising what happened and realising his faults in the breakdown, they are leaving the background to his relationship with Yashika vague and creating scenes that compromise his affections to Yashika but most importantly towards Mannat. On the one hand he is seen still desperately yearning Mannat as much as before the mandap catastrophe but on the other hand not stopping Yashika becoming more than friend. Even to not miss his mother and not show consideration of how she is so unlike Vikrant.

So for now, yes we won’t want him to be reunited with Mannat or the others, the writers are set to add fuel by his continuation of mis understanding Mannat’s relationship with DK, with us and Mannat considering why she isn’t moving on too.

But hopefully his relationship with Y and Yuvi will become clearer soon, Dua will enter the mix as well as Vik coming to some of his senses and missing his mother and knowing about her very poor condition.

As Taiyo said this is our ‘respite’ and part enjoyment phase with ManVik scenes and lovely innocent Dua in Indore scenes. Soon the trp inducing vamp rampage will come ☹️

From my pov difference between friend and bf-gf/life partner is that with friends you cannot be as open as you would with the person you are in relationship with, with one's partner one can share deepest fears, insecurities, secrets....

So if vik considers her gf because he is being able to share all this with yashika, then doesn't it mean atleast emotionally he has moved on...

My only doubt is ,what is that thing that vik is missing in yashika that he feels he is not able to move on... Because from the way they are presenting it it looks like yash-vik relationship has everything.. Trust, respect, understanding, mutual admiration, attachment.. the only thing that is missing is attraction from Vik's side..

So does that mean attraction is the only thing that would define love, and just because vik is not yet attracted to yash we should feel he isn't in love with yash and he didn't move on...

This is the best phase because the vamps are inactive, resting on their laurels. Mannat is gone, Vikrant the trophy is theirs.

Indore scenes are so well written and enacted. It has beautiful conversations (I love good conversations in shows). And then there is anticipation: when will Vikrant meet Dua, when will he meet Mannat, what will happen when they meet and so on.

The phase of anticipation is the best, and once that is over, it is back to square one. Vamps will be activated, and they will start plotting and planning to destroy Mannat (now her daughter as well).

Hey ladies😃 Let’s not dive too much into negativity and enjoy the process. Too much scrutiny ruins the viewing experience. This is an ITV show, and the primary aim is not pure storytelling but TRPs and show sustainability😉Moreover, Mannat is currently under a lot of pressure, as it is carrying TRPs for two slots on Colors. This is also why the show is not airing early in the morning on Hotstar, after a phase of excessive toxicity, the past week has delivered more balanced episodes with genuinely good moments. The show is the bread and butter for the entire unit, and naturally, they want it to run for as long as possible that’s why layers added for more complexity. A lot depends on TRPs, but Mannat is still performing better than many other serials. Despite relatively low ratings, the show has managed to stay in the spotlight, with almost every platform categorising it as a good show rather than a flop. Let’s be honest, most of the top-rated shows currently on air are no different and operate on similar grounds. However, the addition of Dua to the story is refreshing in our case, and exploring relationships after seven years adds depth. If everything is shown at the same pace and resolved quickly, the show won’t last long. So let the misunderstandings happen, a little more kalesh, and a few more of Vik’s foolish decisions. When the truth finally shatters him and hits hard, we will all be clapping during that episode. For now, we are clearly in the face-off build-up stage😂 this show always give us detailed build up😂😂 btw Viku and Dua meeting on the way, bus main safar hoga and connection hoga.

So I am taking each episode at a time. And that way, the episode is quite gripping. Plus, if the reports of moving the time slot are true, then the second half does a quick revision of whatever has happened. Like they did earlier with the one hour episodes.

Overall, i enjoyed the episode.

- Mannat remembers the time she tried out a new recipe for a cake. FB of a short scene that we have not seen. he keeps trying to kiss her. She makes the cake, and he loves it.

- Vikrant enters with his retinue in tow. Mrs Sinha asks him to try the cake, and he immediately remembers Mannat and the same scenario .

- He wants to meet the chef. She comes towards him, but the bride enters for the ceremony. He keeps looking for mannat.

- Arzoo enters the party. She believes in astrology, and does not want to talk business that day. Y makes fun of her and ARS gets angry. Vik cools them down. At one point, he asks himself if he has seen Arzoo anywhere. Bas, iska yahi kaam hai...he can feel Mannat's presence, he feels he knows Arzoo from somewhere.

- Y wants to show off to Arzoo. Starts dancing on Thodi fursat... Malla also joins her. Such a useless sequence. Vik is hardly interested, he keeps looking for M. Yuvi runs into ARS, drops his ice cream on her. She asks Vik if he is his son. Vik says no, he is the son of a family friend. ARS glares at Malla. I think she is angry that Vik still does not consider Yuvi his son.

Indore:

Dua wants to send her audition video. DK is trying to find out the email to send, she fools him badly. They manage to send off the video. Dua smartie goes & asks Neetu permission to go to Mumbai. She tells her that she wants to go to Mumbai, and whispers that the Master Chef is Vikrant Saluja. Neetu starts calling out..puttar, and Dua takes that as permission to go.

- Final hit & miss: Manvik pass each other, and she realises it's Vikrant. Sindoor scene happens, she runs away. She remembers the divorce / funeral scene with Malla. She is almost passing out with anxiety at meeting him.

- Vikrant is as usual helping the waiter sort out his plate and notices she is gone. He sees her footprints in the sindoor and follows her footsteps. But reaches a dead end.

Precap: Mannat sees him with Y. Vik comes and asks her assistant for the chef who made the dessert.

Seven years is a long time. According to the show, Vikrant still loves Mannat, but he knows she is never coming back to him. He has two options: either live with her memories until his death, or choose a partner who will be with him in his journey forward. He opted for the latter, but finding it tough to reciprocate ... he has not shown that he is emotionally invested in the current relationship. Both are clinging on to each other -- Yashica for money, and Vikrant to escape the pain he is feeling (he has not succeeded in that).

And, from and ITV point of view: Yashica is just a misunderstanding extender. And it will be fun watching Mannat being cruel to Vikrant. 😂
