Just you are the type of viewer who watches a show for the whole story or cast, not just for specific actor or pair , it doesn’t mean everyone is like that.

You might not think karan overshadowed the rest of the cast , but the majority of the audience clearly felt that karan overshadowed everyone else. Otherwise Hiten would never have received so many awards and so much screentime. Ekta never gives importance to characters that the audience doesn't like. Especially in a show like kyunki where there were as many as 50 characters involved in the show.

Even hiten-gauri got the title of srk-kajol of ITV both as karan-nandini & pratham-gauri.

But ekta shoudnt have introduced karan as his son with Mandira. Apparently she didn’t even show them sleeping together and after leap randomly showed Karan as his child 🤢 just to justify bringing Hiten to the show. She could’ve showed Karan as that lost son of Tulsi or something. She didn’t even care about the OG Mihir and just did kaand through her fav Ronit. She just tortured the audience by forcing us to watch him as bajaj and then cheater mihir illegitimate child in Kyunki

Waise another twist could have been mandira ne sadak se utha ke beta bana diya karan ko so after all drama more guilt on karan that he was taking revenge for mother who used him🤣

That’s courtesy of the Bollywood influence.

Heroines wore simple, traditional clothes. Vamps were sexy, loud and wore risqué outfits.

Now in Bollywood, both heroine and vamp can dress similarly and you wouldn’t know who’s who by looking at them alone. TV for some reason is yet to catch up on this trend and change.
