I see Saathiya fans constantly asking starplus and ekta (probably because reshmi doesn’t have online account for them to ask her directly) to bring Ahem/Mohammad and Gopi/Gia. Hope Resmi/SP bring them together. They have such cute chemistry. All the 4 main actors (Ahem/Gopi/Kokila/Raashi) of Saathiya don’t mind working and want to work. SP should capitalize on the nostalgia and bring them back

I genuinely don’t understand the point here.

Is Tulsi supposed to find a second rich guy to trauma dump on him while she has a luxurious life in her 60s, rather than being independent? What’s wrong in any kind of work? Are these people seriously thinking anyone makes fun of their favourite for being shown as a lower middle class person? Seriously?!

This is wilful ignorance or simply lack of comprehension, idk, perhaps both.

They should understand no one pokes fun of characters if they’re shown poor - Manav Archana were numero uno couple with their show being number one for ages and they were shown living in a chawl.

People don’t mock poor characters but people can, will and certainly do mock poorly written and executed characters.

Onupamaa was liked and loved as long as she seemed relatable even if pathetic and sad. But now she’s preachy, loud, repetitive, inconsistent and annoying. That’s the problem. She doesn’t know what career she wants but ends up being a jack of all trades and master of none. She doesn’t know how to have a successful marriage regardless of how her husband is. She’s got pathetic children and from what I understand even worse grandchildren, terrible inlaws but somehow she’s the saviour of the world though she can’t fix her own life and family.

Worse her accent is grating and sounds too forced, while coming across as mocking.

On top of that she finds a new man to fall for her, much like Mihir finds these women who want to throw themselves at him.

Mihir can’t help being a poor husband and she can’t help being a poorly written character. That’s why they both face the treatment that they do.
