I dont think there's any consistency with respect to their ages. From what we have heard from the characters in the show, Mahid is 23 while Seher is 16..But I remember reading certain posts where fans noticed that Seher was born in 2005 (as per her admission form or something)..And that would make her 20 lol..

I dont know about you guys but I feel things are moving too fast in this show and I dont think it's a good sign lol..the fact that they are showing all the mushy moments this early, makes me feel we are heading towards the impending doom.

Firstly about Mahid and Seher, I really appreciate that Mahid feels guilty and is trying everything he can to apologize to Seher and make up to her. But I feel there is a paradigm shift in his characterization. Him planning this entire picnic, convincing Asad to bring Seher, giving her googly eyes seems so much out of character. Rather simply going to her house and apologizing to her directly would have been more in line with his character. He was so against this marriage but it now seems like he is okay with it..!?

Secondly about Kausar- Fareed, Im sorry but Im still mad about what Kausar did..Also bossing him around infront of his patients, like please..they are mature adults, it seems like makers are infantilizing some of their interactions to show us their nok jhok..but nah! Im not liking it.

Also the whole angle of Kausar being a road block in MaHer's relationship. In the og, Ive heard this comes up much later after their marriage and that is when Kausar convinces Mahid to give her divorce. But here they are bringing it up so early in the show and Im not sure what the makers are upto..Overall I'm not having a good feeling about where this show is heading and I hope I'm wrong about this

From today's episode/promo there's even more inconsistency. Since mahid said he was 7 when his mother died and in grave episode it was said his mother died in 2011 so that would make his date of birth in year 2004.

So since seher is 16 and born in 2005, he should be only 1 year older than seher.

Or he should be 21 in the show if the show is set in 2025. But then seher should also be 20.

Kausar-Fareed scene was also random with Kausar intruding the patient's session with Fareed for the sake of her daughter vs what it initially started as. Scenes are rapidly jumping from one scene to the next.

I'm also kinda echoing a similar vibe. I'm kinda honestly losing interest somewhere. Plot line kinda seems bit haywire somewhere. Regarding Mahid/Sehere dynamics, I just feel their scenes are thee-thaak and nothing extraordinary and even today's scene with the kite flying seems bit like a randomly inserted one.

I loved the kite scene but it just felt too early for the phase of the story right now..I think it was deeply metaphorical. Like how Mahid is helping her flying kite, he would give wings to her dreams and help her reach greater heights in her career. The scene also was shot beautifully I feel

precap feels like makers are vilifying kausar when she sees mahid-seher bond but maybe she just returns seems like after losing hope from dr. fareed, i don't know??

I totally get what you are saying. Whatever they are showing now, though beautiful, well shot and meaningful is still too early given that their relationship is in nascent stage. And so it seems like it's randomly inserted. As a standalone scene, it's extremely beautiful.

For example, guy and the girl meeting before marriage is frowned upon in their religion. We know that Mahid is a deeply religious guy, so why would he want to spend time with Seher all alone..it doesnt align with his character. The change should've been gradual. This Mahid seems like a whole new different person

@red. Totally agree. Although I enjoyed yesterday's ep, and the beautiful moments MaHer shared.. and I promised myself to stop using my brains while watching this show seeing how Seher and Kausar kept appearing with naqab on and off. But it is hard to believe that a religious guy like Mahid can be this liberal about spending time with his fiancee, who was without naqab in the open.
