Yeah very interesting triangle that was kept people entertained through multiple leaps lol. Someone had commented on older edts that karan pining for nandini and their promo with tere bin show was very well received by audience.

I love tanya too. I understand her. These 3 are the reason I re-watch 🤣🤣🤣I won't count shradha ansh cause ansh didn't love anyone . He was a criminal

Exactly. Karan tanya made mistakes and nandini gave away everything. To think she would always be second in their kids lives, and they lost so much time. In the end nobody actually won. Tanya became psycho. Maybe karan- dude was done with all bs he was like aaj hi shadi karunga nandini se. He wasn't taking any chance 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes Manthan took a 180 degree turn. He invited Nandani to Shanti Niketan saying since her daughter is here so she has full rights..

But it wasn't about time of show, show actually ran for around a year after this maha Milan of step mother/son but the character of Manthan was forgotten, Karan to khair waise bhi didn't care about anyone except Nandani & Tulsi, but even Tanya stopped mentioning him

I think Amit Tandon had left show so they removed the character (waise bhi there was too many people 5-6 chale bhi gaye to koi farak nhi padta tha wahan) so instead of getting a new actor they just faded out the character...

I actually liked him the most in that generation. He was a very complex character, spoilt brat who could even talk back to Ba, but at the same time someone who would go to any extent for his family. His first episode had him going and holding Ba (though he forgot her birthday) when she was coming and no one cared. Despite Karan not caring much for him, he always stood for him to the world and to him for Tanya, and to both of them for Bhoomi, later when he realised that Nandani isn't wrong in this entire fiasco, he even took her side in front of Tanya..

He had a good character arc and a potential but alas ..

When the leap had happened, I was actually expecting that KT would love Lakshya and get married to Manthan due to some reason, but pata nhi Kahan se they brought Eklavya who was actually too irritating for me

I mean people are discussing this after like 20 years.

To be honest Tanya for most part wasn't completely bad. She was feeding only her part of the story to her children and probably wanted them to be completely with her (since she had a weak foundation for the family for herself. That's something she only had herself to blame for)

It was a very different and unique situation in which three people- one couple who loves each other without any expectations and beyond the helm and one person who pines on the loosest wire of hope for getting to her beloved.

I personally think in this relation both Karan and Tanya were at fault, they couldn't find a solution to challenges laid before them and went with the flow, Tanya willingly and Karan unwillingly, only one innocent was Nandani who loved and sacrificed without a frown.

Makers at the end couldn't get a reason to remove Tanya from the equation so they took the easiest route to make Tanya completely evil..

P.S.. i actually wanted to see more of Manthan and Nandani was expecting them to be next Tulsi Karan, but that never happened, Manthan was completely forgotten and then it was like KN had only Bhoomi and Parth

Personally, it felt the triangle was dragged out too much. They ought to have picked a lane and stuck with it but they wanted the drama to never end.

They wanted to make Karan a tormented hero but also didn’t want to make him a cheater while clearly making him a part of a love triangle well into his 50s.

The show lost its appeal to me with the leap that had Bhoomi being an adult. There were too many characters and I couldn’t even like them, worse than that was the fact that they kept the primary two leads in this perpetual loop of reunion and separations. It got tiring.

I understand that fictional couples need to have challenges too to make them endearing to their viewers, and for us to root for them, for us to get invested in and identify with them but at that point it got annoying.

The lazy writing didn’t help either. Like you said the makers took the easy way out of the situation by making Tanya evil. Their explanation - she’s insecure and jealous. As if that takes away the fact that she did raise those 2 kids, was a committed wife.

Nuance is not something you can accuse an Indian TV show writer for displaying.

Today’s episode was kinda meh. The only moment I enjoyed was when Mihir saying Duniya mein do hi toh darling hai, Mona Darling aur Noyna Darling making even the driver chuckle

If Mihir borrows a line from Aalam and goes something like - Darling, darling dil kyun toda, Peela do ek glass whiskey with soda - I will lose it

But it certainly had something different from normal love triangles in TV..

I think they themselves didn’t know what to do with the main couples of the show after a point.

Parth Vaishnavi are likely going to be the pairing per me as well. Else it makes no sense to have him at SN even now and on this trip.

Mittali might try to steal the designs book from Vaishnavi but Parth might help her. Tulsi found her new bahu without even trying to do so

She even prayed for her to have a Saas who can tolerate her jokes - seems like her wish would come true - she and Nandini would be game for a few good jokes as Dadi Saas and Saas.

Also, if this does happen, then this damn show finally comes a full circle in this season too. Vaishnavi will be the Tulsi, to Tulsi’s Baa - the Pautra Vadhu who will be showing how history repeats itself. Tulsi was the wife of Baa’s eldest grandson and so far in this season, Parth remains Tulsi’s oldest grandchild and one she adores.
