In real world, Angad would have inherited something from Anupam, had contacts, friends, help from his brothers and sister even if not openly until Mihir’s affair was exposed. IRL, Angad would have never had to live in a chawl even though Mihir kicked him out of SN because Anupam owned a bungalow too! Even if that place had to be dismantled or whatever, Anupam was shown as a very rich man himself - stands to reason he owned multiple properties, not just in Mumbai but around India and perhaps even abroad. Angad would have rightfully inherited at least a third of those. Even if he didn’t inherit a property in Mumbai, he would have inherited something somewhere! But they would rather go down this route for drama and owing to Ekta’s obsession with that chawl set. She wants her money’s worth from it and will use it until it collapses even if including it doesn’t make sense!

And if we go that way, then why did Tuhir need to adopt these three GenZ children, they had 3 elder sisters (and even Harsh as a half brother and Karan as first cousin) in any normal case these people would have had the first right of adoption that a second cousin of mom.

I think Karan Damini a pretty normal one

Like people do have affairs and then get married to others post which the love slowly fades. Karan to be honest never seemed deeply in love with Damini ever

But marrying Tanya when your wife is alive to have a mother for your step daughter is next level improbability.

Exactly. Karan had an at least 18 year old son at the beginning of the show, with this leap he’s 24 at least.

Mihir Tulsi can also add 6 years to the 38 years nonsense to claim 44 years of marriage. Tulsi got pregnant in the first year of marriage itself and Gautam was born by the end of that year, hence he is 43. Thus,
Karan cannot be older than 42 with this logic.

At 42, Karan’s oldest is 24. Karan had to have had him at 18! And that’s after having his heartbroken when it came to Damini, landing in India to ruin his dad and expose his affair. Followed by Nandini entering his life. Followed by a messed up love square/rectangle/any other quadrangle shape - when Ansh and Tanya were introduced on the show. The various marriages that followed. Somehow all before the age of 18!

But they have essentially erased the 3 daughters this season. There’s no mention of Lajja, Aparna and Sharmili.

In season 1, Karan was younger to Shobha, he was born after the first leap.

Here they suddenly made Karan elder to her and she calling him Bhaiyya, if Karan is actually elder to Shobha then Mihir isn't at fault in case of Mandira

Because then it means Karan was conceived while Mihir had amnesia and he and Mandira were to be married. They were an official couple, though Mihir treated her as freind and savior, yet they were together. I mean yes pre marital relationships aren't respectable but thats not as bad as cheating.

In fact is season 1, Mandira had actually lied that while Mihir and her were together they came close one day and she conceived, and when this (fake) news was revealed, everyone (except Tulsi and Ba) were ready to accept her and her would be child, because that was a mistake not a crime..

By what rights she lived there - the rights given by Ekta and her writers. They wanted her in SN back then, so she was there. They’ve not asked her to come back again, so she’s not here so far in this season.

Arguing with me doesn’t change this is S1 canon. I am not suggesting any of this happen now but simply stating this did.

If you must argue, go argue with Ekta, her team and the channel who have changed canon facts and made Parth Tanya’s son biologically this season, when we know he was Nandini’s.

They should have simply started the show by depicting this was the 45th wedding anniversary of TuHir. The math would have still been a bit fuzzy but it would have still made more sense. Even if Mihir married at 18/9 and they were married for 45 years, he would have been in his early 60s at the beginning of the show. With this leap nearly 70. At 70, he would be old enough to have a 50 year old son who has a 25 year old son of his own too!
