The biggest problem I have with Vrinda and Angad scenes is that its so repetitive on a loop, like the couple trying to do romance but getting disrupted, 1-2 times I get it but 90% of their scenes are like that post marriage! Yeah in the beginning I wanted their scenes a lot too because they were interesting and had potential. Their story has been handled so poorly. I now skip their scenes or can’t wait for their together scenes to be done because they are so boring when before I would look forward to their scenes so badly. They have no track revolving around to hold my interest. People were already not warmed up to the Gen Z, but the writers also did the them bad. They had potential, but the team didn’t capitalize on it. All they gave us post marriage is them constantly romancing with that boring Tum Kya Mile (not even a dang ka song for them) song playing. But constant romance and that too for a new couple who hardly went through anything hardship to make audience wait doesn’t hold viewers interest for long. They already gave them enough screen space post marriage, but they didn’t have any track for them except like I said constant same romance with boring song which just ruined it instead of developing their story in nice way
I had so many expectations and thought they may be this season new Karan Nandini (of course, I knew they won’t be equal to KN because that was something else but like 2025 version one somewhat at least), but nothing happened. Forget KN they couldn’t even come near Gozmi Teesha 😭 Now I have lost hope for other potential parallel couples like rithik munni, parth and his love, etc too when they couldn’t even handle vridang. As for Saas Bahu, they have been showing that a bit and in the background. First with Gayatri, Daksha chachi with Tulsi and then Tulsi with Nandini, flashbacks of baa and saas with Tulsi and now adding Vrinda. OG Kyunki wasnt focused on saas bahu too initially and all focused on TuHir. It was after Amar quitting that they started focusing more on saas bahu aspect. I heard the name of the show was supposed to be Shantaniketin something, but they changed it to Kyunki… due to Ekta’s obsession with starting her shows names with K at the time due to astrology
Someone mentioned they suddenly changed the script it really does seem so. Infact I really liked the scenes where Angad shares his sadness or how he misses his family with Vrinda and the other scene where Vrinda cried and Angad and Ritik consoled her. Those were much more natural.
I call Shantiniketan as Oshantiniketan (in bengali opposite of shanti is oshanti
