As others have said, this victory was great for the credibility of the show because it means a mature credible gentleman that doesn't stoop low can also win the trophy while being likeable in the process.
Him winning felt the same for me as Shweta Tiwari did. God bless him and hopefully hes able to be successful moving forward too!
