But how will Seher's father agree to her mother's job? If he was living in another place I would've thought that the girl and her mother eloped to a far away place.. but since they live in Luknow it will be difficult to hide from his eyes.

So I watched the original Turkish dizi on which this is based (not the whole thing, I ended up dropping it after I got bored). Anyways, in the original, they make it clear that it is a failed adoption. Amal was the one pushing for a child but then later just couldn't connect at all to the child. Fareed never understands that kind of logic and basically this disconnect leads to a breakdown in their relationship.

While it sounds strange, in real life, failed adoptions do happen apparently. It is really sad situation but there have been news stories where folks returned the child back and it became a problem because it created international news. (This was international adoption stories).

However, according to some experts, adoption does have a failure rate. Sometimes, the adoptive parents have this fairytale kind of idea in their head and then reality hits and they are not prepared. Some are not cut out to be parents even with bio kids and adopted kids make the situation harder.

In some, they find out that they are unable to show real affection to someone who is not of their own blood despite effort. Basically the child just reminds them that they are infertile and becomes a source of pain instead. (this was the kind of dynamic that the dizi hinted out with why Amal rejects the daughter).

I missed that scene. I only watched Seher in her father's arms, when her mother gave birth to her sister.

Wait What, that FB the doctor was having was Kausar. So did doctor Sultana recognize Kausar. This is crazy I have to watch the episode again, I completely miss the connection. It would be justice if Parvez finds out later Azad isn't his son. What a jerk, abandoning his daughter poor Kausar probably thinks her baby died

The guy in that scene resembles the older Parvez . And the woman was clearly Kausar. And I like your idea about Azad. There's something wrong about the 2nd wife.

Yeah that 2nd wife what's her name Sofia, yeah she's very sick and cunning. I seriously won't doubt he's not the father. That's the thing with ignorant men in the world who blames the woman for gender of the child when it's not something you can control unless you pay lots of money plus it's the male that determine the gender
