Although I don't think that there is something like extortion, I still think that Yami isn't wrong in pointing to the fact that the review-culture relative to the Hindi filmindustry has started to harm the filmindustry itself. Some years ago, we didn't make any attention to the advance booking in a review thread, now those numbers also get an importance they don't deserve (imo).

It may have been a bit late that Jio & Dhar decided to make a 2 part movie out of the material, now each part not too long (personally I think that it is a good decision as they have a very intense story to tell where the intertwining of politics, underworld and terrorism is the main subject). Although I don't know in which way the fictional Ranveer character is there to involve Indian spy work, but the Pakistani angle is based on/inspired by real incidents that happened in Pakistan (Operation Lyari around 2012) and Arjun, Sanjay, Akshaye (and Madhavan?) play characters that mirror real persons involved in that crackdown of a criminal web.

No Imax shows either. Film is lengthy,fewer shows. But I will keep my 20 cr opening prediction. Last evening,I expected 25cr... Because so many screens were added,given by AA films.

TIM is expected to make max 5 crores( yesterday it did 5.5 crs). It lost many screens

BMS trending will give an idea. Just compare D to 3 crs (keepikng it low)of TIM. Crude,but an ok estimate .

I don't believe any reviews of people who go to watch films at 8 AM. We will know next weekend.
