In today's episode, Angad's treatment in Vrinda's house is the reality of ghar jamai in society. It is the main reason why men don't prefer to be a ghar jamai. Even in a man's own house, he will be respected and loved until he provides. If not, he gets no love and no respect.

In Anupama and YRKKH, ghar jamai's are shown as powerful rulers of the whole house which is never the reality. But yes, only because they are having the control over business (even though it belongs to wife side), they are in the house.

Mihir and Tulsi brought up these Gen Z kids as prince and princess and now Angad is left on his own. I feel bad for Angad. Mihir is still upset but at least Tulsi could have thought something for Angad instead of brainstorming about settling Mitali

The undercurrent of the episode was one simple thing - money. Everything is about money.

Angad gets a reality check that he will never forget and Vrinda finally seems to show some spine when it comes to her family… all because her SIL feels Angad is a freeloader who is a burden on them. Funny how it comes from the woman who was dreaming of being a freeloader and enjoying a life of luxury courtesy of Angad not too long ago.

Tulsi on the other hand signed the papers and acquired everything owned by Mihir, per his own wishes and that set off alarm bells ringing in Kiran’s head and where he failed to make Mihir question Tulsi’s change of heart regarding this matter, Noyna succeeded…

In a rather clever way, the episode was a subtle commentary on how society views women and men when it comes to money in such different ways though both need it to survive equally. A woman who stakes her monetary claim is viewed as being money minded and selfish even though she has essentially devoted her entire existence to a man and his family. She’s sacrificed herself, birthed his children and looked after everyone in his family ranging from his grandparents to his grandchildren and yet the idea of her being the owner on paper was seen as almost a crime instantly. It started affecting the opinion others have about her as they look down upon her, including her own husband who made the decision himself without any coercion or threat or intimidation from Tulsi’s end whatsoever. He had these papers prepared without even her knowledge. But the moment Noyna says she would pick him over his money any day still manages to get Mihir to have a judgemental moment there when Tulsi was signing those papers.

In a sharp contrast, a man who makes no money is seen as a burden and is treated with no respect, even in the place where his respect is considered paramount. Even though it’s only been a few days since this man has stepped into this space. He has a long life ahead of him where tides can and will change but his current position was enough to make a woman who normally wouldn’t have even been able to get an opportunity to get close to him, order him around to do chores.

Truly one of the most well written episodes of the season so far

And when Mihir will learn about Tulsi's selfless act he will suddenly realize how much Tulsi loves him which sadly he didn't realize in 38 years of staying together *slow claps*

The way an outsider is easily influencing Mihir's POV about Tulsi shows that it has always been one sided love from Tulsi

I know, i have been cribbing about mihir so much, but kitne kaan ka kaccha hai ye... noyna kuch bhi kehti hai and he believes it... she said tulsi chose money over you and he believes her, when he himself asked tulsi to take the money.. tulsi jail bhi chali jayegi, tab bhi Pata nahi kya sochega.. how can a character go so off track!!! 😫

Ekta could have shown this in a new show... why did she ruin tulsi and mihir!

if a budget issue was the reason then hiten-gauri would have only had a cameo, there would have been no point in bringing them back as permanent cast . Nor would it makes sense to first show that karan returned to india , agreeing to nandini's request , mihir gave his new business to karan , and then suddenly karan-nandini disappear without any explanation. Again they are not around since the very beginning on a regular basis so they have been cameos. If they had been permanent cast they would’ve been around a lot more with the occasional episode that doesn’t feature both or either.

I don’t think there’s any game here or politics. Look around at any show these days they prefer younger actors in main roles and veteran actors are reduced to side characters mostly. The reason is simple - main leads shoot the most, younger actors equals fresh faces for audiences and less pay for the PH and channel since they’re barely starting out. That’s it.

I don’t know about child actors coming in for small scenes here and there. So far the episode itself has not aired that features their onscreen daughter. Besides, ITV is notorious for not having any fixed scripts since these are literally daily shows unlike the season format of the western shows where they have a limited number of episodes where all the main actors regardless of whether they play a recurring role or a regular role get the scripts in advance and there are table readings and rehearsals if necessary as well.

Caught with the episode. I don’t understand why makers are keep playing these romantic songs on them and giving them such scenes. It’s purely infuriating and disgusting. But after yesterday’s episode I am now even more sure nothing happened between Mihir and Noina that night because makers are constantly showing Mihir feeling guilty for Noina whenever she mentions she has wronged him too which is is an indication. Makers will never try show ml being guilty for a third angle who’s negative rather than being guilty for just fl alone.

So to differentiate between fl and a vamp they will make him only being responsible doing wrong to the fl and not the vamp. She’s playing with his mind just as she did the exact same thing after that US sexual assault by making him think something happened between them until Hemant made it clear that they didn’t sleep in the same room and he was the one who was with Mihir in the room that night. Also, makers not showing Mihir remembering or Noina remembering that night to show what happened exactly is also a strong indication that they don’t want to show the truth right now and delaying it until the right time. If something had actually happened they would’ve shown the full scene by now through flashbacks.

With Noina’s dialogue about Tulsi prioritizing money over him and Noina herself will always choose him over money makes me think they will also not just prove Tulsi prioritizing him over money (it’s a different matter that the money/property are also half hers). But they will likely also show Noina liking/wanting money/wealth over Mihir later down the road

I am irked by the songs too. I don’t know why they don’t understand this simple thing.

Also I am sure thar right now Noyna thinks that anything that gets her Mihir is worth it. So she planted this thought in that idiot’s head that his wife values money over him while she would’ve chosen him over money.

Noyna definitely wouldn’t want to compromise on her lifestyle and settle with a penniless Mihir either. She’s no Vrinda.

Maybe makers want Mihir to wash some bartan too like Angad eventually
