How can she expect big rumeneration without the hours. I think they do have a point and Deepika either choses work that allows her that hours of steps down and get into something else. Like as a doctor myself I can't ask for 8 hrs just cause I want a work life balance. I got into this work field if I dont agree with the hours I should leave and do something else I just do office hours work. Maybe DP should go back to just modeling and not be so self entitled a lot of people balance it she isn't the only mother out there.

The producers are pushing back. This is a very important conversation.

It will come up with every new film. Some producer star collaboration will fall through.Some may find a way to work together.Atleast it is on the table.

Well, this 8-hours-angle only attributed to Deepika goes a bit out of hand - especially when she gets criticised for that. I know, that - also for her - it depends on the way her work gets scheduled, especially now with a baby she wants to spend time with in the way she sees as necessary. I'm quite sure that the demands of both the producers she didn't accept to work with didn't meet her demands (which is comprehensible as both these producers not yet had an organised shooting plan), so it is absolutely okay if there won't be collaboration (for Kalki 2, there is not even a shooting start in sight and Spirit just had started while Deepika is shooting for King).

One can be sure that Deepika is flexible enough about the times on set when she feels okay with the collaboration. But I guess, this isn't important for those who want to paint a negative picture of her

But it will be so difficult for the producers to get another person n Kalki as it is a continuation and she has already shot some scenes for the 2nd series.

Both parties should have come to an in -between stand .

Also don't let TFI insult PC. That industry will suffer,till they change their attitude. Their biggest pan India superstar's new release has 3 starlets. yet,the film is dead on arrival. His next film stars an unknown influencer. the Third one has Ranbir's second lead actress as his heroine.

We might not have seen the end of the matter - probably... (respective to Kalki 2)

bold = The change of "attitude" should come from 'both' sides - the South filmindustry and the Hindi one... right?

The way, Indian politics developped since the indepence created the "attitude"-riff... in the filmindustries, there always had been collaboration, be it through directors, actors, writers, and currently also producers.
