I'm a tamilian, my nani used to watch yrkkh's tamil version "Uravugal thodarkathai" season 1. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

They stopped the telecast after a while, Hindi is my third language and starplus yrkkh timing was my free time after homework. So I was on translating duties from 2015 Feb.

My nani got bored during gen 2, but I kept it going for Naksh, then Abhimanyu happened 💥

I was pregnant in that time and my nani praised akshara like anything. So I thought of watching it. It's simple regular house hold story in s1 which represented every house every traditions followed. S2 pace picked fast and egoistic goenkas were classy and caught attention. Naira stood for truth right justice held family given them, punishments took punishment too. My favorite is naira always.S3 for naira ki beti I watched but birlas vs goenkas was the best drama achieved there. Birlas had their own flaws but we're together. Akshara can't reform anyone nor changed herself. Arohi in birlas amd goenkas was the main story puller. Out of all 3 ak can't get love of anyone with her decisions and deaths caused due to her though all loved her. Abheera is doormat kept under dadi vidya ar legs to maintain the family. Maira will be trained useless brainless no goals except party karo ghumar karo fights karo as legacy 🤣

I was young when my mom used to watch yrkkh.

Used to come after my school and watched yrkkh like a habit

Habit turned into love in no time

Gen 1,gen 2 and gen 3 is my favourite.

HC was the main reason to watch gen 3 along with the birlas

Covid and harshad smiley36 was not watching itv other than supernatural shows. Then saw hc in the promo so decided to watch and only watched gen 3 and liked birlas who were more career oriented than akshu ever could. I have no interest in sas bahu saga. I am more interested in career/goal oriented woman than husband hunter 😄 i don't believe in the thought that woman is incomplete without marriage so don't watch yrkkh type of shows which tries to potray that woman's ultimate goal is marriage and giving birth. So dropped after gen 3 😄

gen 3 was a sasur bahu saga in beginning.

Harshu and Akshu

Birlas were probably the only modern and urbanised family in yrkkh
