I think it’s a deliberate decision to include more scenes of Mihir and his children or those of the same age group. They truly wanna show that Mihir is not all rotten because his behaviour towards Tulsi in the past few episodes was horrendous and people started hating the character, they can’t have that, not for the main lead so they’re trying to make Mihir a more rounded and more complex character by incorporating his scenes with his children. The intention is precisely to showcase husband vs father dynamics. Also I think it’s a subtle buildup to that Mihir Vrinda dynamic that we are being teased with. They’re showing what Tulsi was speaking of regarding fathers being essentially similar to coconuts - hard on the outside but soft on the inside; who can easily get angry but have a harder time to display love when it comes to sons and the reverse holds true for their daughters. Only now they’re showing it instead of making Tulsi say those things which is the better move. It makes Mihir a more interesting character, softens people’s anger towards him as they see him struggle with his emotions as a father too like we recently saw with Angad.

It’s a funny and I suppose an interesting and yet appropriate coincidence that the last time around a male character was given such layers and attention was Mihir played by Amar and it’s Mihir again who is played by Amar who has a whole plot around him. There is a reason behind why Mihir’s death inspired the reactions it did - he was introduced from the pilot episode itself as the only member of the family who remembers Baa’s birthday and wishes her all the way from US by sending a voice recording. We are introduced to Mihir as a loving grandson, a responsible son, who also took care of his younger sibling and cousins. I guess they wanna show life coming a full circle for Mihir by making him seem a good father and eventually a loving father-in-law too. Though he missed his bus as a husband.

They should not have made the Private Investigator's character like a mere blackmailer. People don't really have awareness about Private Investigators. So it is just promoting the ITV bahus to do spying instead of professionals.

But the case is over, right? So I don't feel the maid is working for him. I just hope he doesn't mess with Rannvijay's case since his evidence only can bring Tulsi out of the jail.

Ok before discussing the episode, I must say the clothing and fashion styles given to the characters in this show is so good. From Mitali to Tulsi to Mihir to Barkha and the new look of Vrinda. Barkha looked so hot and beautiful in the office today. Her saree was beautiful and hair style as well. Mihir looked hot in his attire in the office too. Tulsi looked beautiful too in the office. Mitali as well. I think after a long time we are seeing such great clothing and styles for characters in itv show. I hope they keep this up.

Still won’t say he is a good father. If he was , half of the problems won’t have happened. He got Pari married to Ajay too fast and desperately.

And the way he behaved so harshly with Angad only cause he married the girl he loved, same thing Mihir himself did years back. I get it if he’s upset cause unfair for Mitali, but he taunted Angad as adopted! And Ritik was interested in music from start but he isnt as supportive and persuades him to work in office.

Something tells me the detective is setting up Noyna for making his case watertight. He only has a picture clicked by a drunkard where Mihir is carrying Noyna in a torrential rain. That doesn’t prove anything. All the information he has about their affair is hearsay based on the talks between the sisters alone. There’s no recording of that conversation from what I recall and even if there was, Noyna and Suchitra can easily claim that someone is using AI or some mimicry artist to imitate their voices perfectly.

The picture can easily be interpreted as Mihir rescuing Noyna in a torrential downpour from drowning when she was trying to kill herself, that in and of itself is not proof of them having an affair at all. No one would blame Mihir from saving even a random stranger were they in the same position as Noyna was. There’s nothing scandalous technically in that picture, they’re not in a compromising position. Mihir has lifted her and she’s clearly unconscious.

But if Noyna pays him any amount, and lets face it this man has a recording of Ranvijay stealing from the Viranis 80 lakh rupees and he knows that Ranvijay called it petty cash. He could have easily blackmailed Mihir and extracted an even bigger amount than this but he goes to Noyna and asks for a smaller amount than Ranvijay easily stole. Yes, Noyna says it’s not petty cash she can cough up easily but it still shouldn’t be a problem for her. The amount here doesn’t make sense to me even if it is by no means a small amount of money.

The reason he went to Noyna and not Mihir is because in this particular instance, Tulsi is not his client, Raman is. And it is Raman trusting this man that makes me think he’s trapping Noyna here with a solid evidence where he may perhaps even record he, not just in audio but in a video, paying him to shut up about the whole affair and delete the picture from his phone. Though he can always have multiple backups and even print copies. Once Noyna is seen paying him a hefty amount, he has her. She cannot deny paying him and that is what seals his investigation. There’s no denial no way to claim she’s not having an affair with a married man.

Though it baffles me that Noyna is now concerned about her so called izzat. What exactly does she think will happen if Mihir were to divorce Tulsi and marry her as she wants? Does she think there won’t be gossip and scandal? That people wouldn’t assume that they started having an affair while working together and that’s what led to the divorce with Tulsi and the eventual marriage with her?

Tulsi is not dead, Mihir has not been a widower mourning his wife for ages for people to not talk if he remarries a friend or a business partner or even a random woman he met via friends or family to have a partner, a companion in his old age. There will be gossip and scandal. So why the cold feet now?
