Prarthana has completely destroyed her own life, and she has no one else to blame. After smashing the divorce papers on Gautam Gandhi’s face, any sensible woman would have left the baby in an orphanage after birth and started a new life. She is an MBA — she could have had a clean, dignified future. Instead, she walked straight into the poisonous Shah family and trapped herself. Honestly, any girl who wants to marry into that house should stop studying right there — education, talent, logic, everything dies the moment you enter that door, just like it did with Anupama.

And Ansh… he keeps proving that he has zero shame and zero respect for himself or his wife. Making his pregnant wife stand in the burning sun to sell skincare creams is not just wrong — it shows what kind of man he truly is. He can get a normal job if he really wants to, but instead he treats his wife like a roadside vendor while he stands around like a helpless statue. Which grown man behaves like this? Parag shouldn’t waste even a minute — he should hand Ansh the divorce papers immediately. Ansh is just as useless, clueless, and hopeless as Pari and Ishani, maybe even worse because he drags others down with him.

Before there are comparisons with Maaya, Maaya's and Prarthana's situation are completely different. In Maaya's situation, putting the child in an orphanage would have given the child a chance at a more secure life than her mother who was fighting the world for dignity. But even so, Maaya came back for her child when she was back on her feet.

Prarthana's first mistake was to hide the pregnancy before divorce (she was lucky Gautam did not file a complaint which would have made the unborn child's future in a maze of legal battles).

Second mistake was to stay at Shah Hauj as a paying guest after divorce (She could well have stayed at an actual PG or working women's hostel rather than the circus called Shah Hauj where she was actually filling in the role of the part time househelp.

Third mistake was choosing Anss (who has no goals in life) as a life partner and father of the child.

Her standing in the hot sun etc. To support her husband's work, is ALL secondary, honestly, NOTHING wrong.

Parag has limited to no jurisdiction and that is the helplessness of a father (else they rebel like Raja). His children are just as hopeless as the Shah kids with no mind of their own, no goals in life and no efforts to fulfill even basic duties. Surprisingly, except Gautam and Maahi (Raahi excluded because she puts the efforts but is often misguided and blinded by people she loves aka Prem and Onupama), who has done anything worthwhile or even putting in any efforts? They are ALL riding in on ancestral wealth ir someone ekse's wealth (in case of Shahs).

I don't understand what is this show's issue with single mothers. First Kinjal and now Prarthana. These women are not some poor helpless damsels with no support or no where to go. They are highly educated women who are capable enough to support themselves and their children. Even during Kinjal's time, they gave nonsensical excuses like the child needs the father, family etc. Look where all that led Kinjal to. She had to be Shah's maid all her life, with a useless trash like Toshu for husband and Pari grew upto be just as useless as her father.

Now the same cycle will repeat with Prarthana and her kid too. She could have raised this kid as a single mother. She's educated, has financial support and access to best facilities. Women without any of these resources still raise their kids well. So it is not impossible. It just requires sensible writing, which this show is completely incapable of.

That is exactly why Prarthana should leave her baby in an orphanage the moment the child is born. At least the baby won’t grow up becoming a cheap, sad, watered-down photocopy of Ghatiya Gautam, and Prarthana can save her own future instead of drowning in their dirt.

Her downfall started the day she married that useless #AnuRaj ka Ansss, a man who made his pregnant wife stand under the burning sun to sell Lee Sha’s trash products. He is as worthless as Doshu—maybe even lower.

Upmaa is the biggest curse walking around in that house. She pretends to be “right,” but everywhere she goes, someone’s life gets destroyed.

When Doshu’s cheating exploded, Crinjal finally took the right step—divorce him and shut the chapter. But the moment Upmaa did her “decision is yours” mahaan act, Crinjal collapsed and took the fraud back, even though she had a rich mother, a strong job, and the power to raise Pari with dignity.

Thanks to Upmaa’s soft-hearted nonsense, Crinjal threw her self-respect in the dustbin and picked up a freeloading liar again.

And this is why Sasuraal Genda Phool Season 1 will always stand stronger than today’s circus.

Ishwar Kashyap dumped Shailaja and their kids—Inder and Panna—for money and ran to the US to build a shiny fake life with Meera and Ruby. But Shailaja raised her kids alone with real strength. It took her twenty years, but she and Dadaji still had the guts to throw Ishwar out of the Kashyap House forever.

But Dhongi Dukhmukh? He doesn’t have even one drop of that courage. He refused to throw Vanar and Doshu out of Kachrakunj. He has treated them like diamonds when they are nothing but scrap metal poisoning the entire house.

If Prarthana wants to raise her kid, she should do it. But she should first grow a spine, put Gautam in place, divorce useless Ansh and move out of Kothari house. Because depending on TamaShahs and their worthless progeny to raise her kid is the worst thing she can do to the kid. The problem with these Kothari kids is they are all talk but no action. Prem, Raja, Prarthana all like to make big claims, while still freeloading on Kothari wealth. That's why no one takes those three seriously.
