@ Bold sections: This. Absolutely this. AI can do good work no doubt. It writes well, graphics well, searches well, so on and so forth. But (1) it requires less effort and thus doesn't afford the same respect and (2) what a human can do is adapt and adjust and bring their own touch to things.

And especially when we can't do something ourselves, we appreciate someone's effort that much more. I tried Photoshop early on to try and make graphics myself. Even had a shop for a while and made some banners, but the patience and skill required was beyond my ability. It doesn't matter if a graphicer takes a basic background and puts some words on it. The fact that they did that much work and tried to make something that took effort is more than enough.
