I don't know about him being outside but he definitely gets to see each contestants clips prior to his pm show. He had accidentally spilled that when he brought up few points about Tanya and Farhana..if he is in bedroom, there is no way he knows what's going on in the garden area. He has seen footages in cr several times before the show.
